lol yeah i got an ipod as well, i use is as storage device but it does hold 10gb of my songs atm, cost aint to bad and you dont really need the support it all just works :lol:

well assuming something went wrong with it, unless you got a really good warranty from the place you bought it then meh.....

the 256mb i use now is like 2 times as old as my friends ipod and hes having problems. same with my brothers ipod.

i've had my ipod for 2 years, dropped it in a puddle, down stairs onto cement, stepped on it, kicked it, thrown it into a wall... it still works :? maybe your friends and brother's dont abuse it enough
