Chronicals of FreeSpirit - The final chapter.

Spring 2020.

The night is long, the winds are cold and rain is pouring down on Earth. A big bolt of thunder lights up the dark night. In the shadows of the thunder stands a silouet of a man. Not moving as if its paralized by time itself. Somehow my feet automatcily walk towards the man as if its my destiny to walk these paths. As soon as i approach closer I notice that the silouet of the man is acctually a statue. No wonder that he coudnt move i tell myself in confusion. I decide to take a closer look to the statue. Its a man with wings on his back and a cold metal sword in his right hand. There's a shield next to his feet. Then i decide to look at the mans face and in an instand i am terrified and shocked at the same time. The statue i have walked upong in these dark woods is a statue of myself. How is this possible? I have never visited this place before and now heres a statue of me glorieus but defeated. I look at the bottom of the statue to read the text on it.

"Here stand the remains of FreeSpirit. A warrior who fought till the end for what he deemed that was right."

Confused as I am I decide to build my camp here for the night. My thoughts run back to the statue. "How can it be that my statue is here saying I died while i am still here?" I decide to let someone else answer that question in the morning when I will look for life on this god forsaken planet. I put my head to rest on my fieldbed but as hard as i try the silence of sleep does not seem to surround me.

It seemed like forever till the sun finnaly started to come up again. Tired as i was i packed my tent. Took one last breath of clean air in this forrest and walked out in direction of the nearest city according to my knowledge. Days went by as I walked towards Colorado Springs where as far as i was aware the remaining base of SGC was located.I know my directions were the Cheyenne mountains but it took me weeks to get there. Finnaly I arrived at my destination. The gate of SGC stood there wide open and abandoned right in front of me. I entered the abandoned base hoping that here I could find the answers where I am looking for. Slowly i find my way to lvl 27 where the SGC Commander's office is located. Im sure that his archives have a file with my name on it, i tell myself loudly as i enter his office. After several minutes of searching every closet, archive and drawer I finnaly find a file with my name on it. My curiousity wins it from my concience and i open the file.

I died? But how does it enable me to be here? Quickly i decide to read on. I notice a page written by Oneill the SGC commander.

27th of March 2009

Today I have visitied the first aid barracks, where all our wounded SG-09 soldiers were located. They all seem to be infected by some sort of virus wich consumes their body more and more every day. Our first casualty hasd occured. Agent FreeSpirit was badly infected, he got shot when he tried to kill the doctor investigating him. We think the virus uses its body as host as the goa'uld do. However the symptones do not match those of the goa'uld symbiotes.
We are affraid that even the death cant stop these foul creatures therefor we have used the Stargate to travel FreeSpirit's body to a meteor 10.000 lightyears away from planet Earth. If he and the virus he carries ever return it could be the end of human kind as we know it.

FreeSpirit closed the file. Silently he stood up as he knew what to do. "I'm am not risking the existence of human kind with this virus deep inside of me". He walked to the elivator and pressed the button for lvl 28. As soon as he left the elivator he saw what he was looking for. He found the Stargate. Quickly he ran to the control room entering the coordinates of P3X-984 the abandoned planet where the Alpha site once was located. With a last look at the SGC base FreeSpirit walked into the Stargate. Never to return again.

[spoiler]With this last story i am saying farewell to the SGW game. For almost 4 years it consumed most of my free time on the computer. However I can not find the fun or joy to log in day in day out to play the game. To many updates and changes have created this effect therefor im saying farewell before it consumes what is left of me. Over these years i have met great people aswell as game related as not game related. I will continue to visit the forums and do my job as Moderator but for all the ingame peril u from now on need to find someone else to discus it with

A special shout out goes to those who have effected me in the game and off the game. Those who i consider friends and will gladly continue to speak to on MSN.

Everyone in MayheM. Sorry for the short stay but I must end this vicious circle now i still can.

This is my 4th attempt lol. Somehow i think i will succeed staying away from the game though. Atm there isnt much in the game itself that can keep me here.
