The Tauri Ålliance Family would like to announce we are recruiting members into our Family. The TÅ was formed in March 2005 and we are still going strong. The TÅ Family consists of the Tauri Ålliance, Tauri Ålliance Åtlantis Expedition (TÅÅE), Dark TÅ and Tauri Ålliance Training Syndicate (TÅTS).

We are at War with FUA and The Pond right now and new wars happen from time to time. We don't run from wars. We are those that won't go around bullying, and will try to stop silly wars from starting. But rest assured, that does not mean being pushed around. We walk that line. People get what they deserve when they mess with us. As a member you agree to that. You don't go around bullying, and you try to solve the problems when they arise. But when the metal meets the road, you are prepared to thrive in year long fights.

We don't want you if you will run from a fight. We don't want you if you want to bully innocent SGW players. We don't want you if you can't keep your cool and solve problems. The greater good of the TÅF is what matters. As a member you agree to do everything you can to help progress the TÅF, and the TÅF makes you the promise that the fights you are engaged in are honorable, justified, and needed.

We are an alliance that is filled with members who want to have a say, and in the TÅF you will have your say and we listen. One of the best aspects of the TÅF is that the cream always rises to the top. If you are a good player, with good ideas, humble, and comes correct, you will go far in TÅF just like all those that meet those traits have before you.

We are lighthearted, and jokes/getting a rise on our members occasionally happens, deal with it. You must be a person willing to be 'bigger'. That said, blatant insults are not allowed, and you'll be called out. You must be able to distinguish between an over the top joke and an insult. As many of the former sound to many like the latter.

'I hear your mom is the biggest ha***or in the U.S., but at least she's cheap' and 'So and so is a f****t, I hate him' are two completely different messages. If you can't distinguish between the two, you may be lacking the mental chops necessary to be a part of the TÅF, and should look elsewhere

You will be part of the TÅ family, as such you treat all your fellow TÅF members with respect.

If you refuse to raid when able to, we don't want you. If you don't like a fight, don't join. If you are inactive, don't join. If you are looking to fight anyone just because you can, we don't want you. If losing your defense and playing with none for up to a year is too much for you, don't join. If you don't plan on playing much longer, don't join.

If you roll like we do, and none of this stuff bothers you, you meet the TÅ test, are a quality player, and we're very interested in hearing from YOU!

You will be added to the family and be amongst a deep list of long time hardcore SGW players that also feel the same way.

Remember, it's not always about where you are at, it's where you want to be and what you are willing to do to strive for greatness. We understand that you may be new, or took a year break, or were never in an alliance, or an alliance that couldn't help flesh out your skills. Size does not always equate skill and determination. You'll have your chance to practice and increase your skills, to use your determination to grab the glory that will be yours. It's not easy, but nothing good ever is.

Save the bull for somewhere else, our perceptions of reality are attuned to reality, thus the lack of GC bull coming out of our players. Only the weak believe it. Our power comes from embracing reality, and dealing with it in a superior fashion.

TO ALL THOSE READING! What our current host failed to mention is another part of their ever so grand family...

The Tauri Alliance Massers.. yes.. they wear their tag, and are part of their 'empire'. These.. people.. act.. completely contrary to grand claims of this opening script of bravado.

I have proof.. of how these players do bully. Accounts of hundreds of millions of army size, attacking, massing and warring with accounts many times smaller than themselves, some less than 5million in total army size, who valiantly stand against their oppressors. A training alliance, that had no part in a war.

Furthermore, one of the Tauri Alliances own.. participates in this war.

So they do bully, the tauri alliance do hand out insults, and they do do a lot of things contrary to what this thread claims, and I shalt allow such lies to go unchallenged by an empire that condones what I have seen and then tries to claim otherwise.

So, if you want to join liars... , and if you want to join bullies...then, by all means.. sign up after reading this thread.. but by God... don't think you will get a moments peace from me on these forums...

I may be mean and I, as a person and player, definitely can bully certain individuals..but I don't lie.

I suppose it all simply comes down on how you define things as "bully", "misbehave" and "lie"...
You can either under the name encompase everything, from one induviduals actions/war banther/demand for repayment in a induvidual incident/writing recruitment threads utilizing "poeitc licensing" etc. OR reserve it for the more systematic practices (0 hit policies, smeere campaigns, massings of people that left your alliance etc.) and the whole empires/alliances modus operandi or how they conduct themselves and what goals do they pursue & declare. Or induviduals deliberatly mislieading of the entire community...

So, as far as the latter extreme and guys that pitched in "loling" at TAF first goes...
I gotta lol @ you people heh. Compared to you 2 for instance, noobert by empire association/charming war thread demeanor and Universe by (we all know what), TAF are regular saints.



But, ofcourse, who in SGW is spotless...

If ppl went around splitting hairs in threads like these, no alliance/empire I`ve ever heard off would be "worthy" of any recruits...

Least allone the "educating" TLE, "purgatory creating" FUA or the likes of NS, FS, etc. etc. List goes on and is waaay more detailed.

To be honest Semper, I can't speak specifics about the Massers vs Nemesis war, I was told to stay out of it so I did. Though as you are involved in the war I suspect you know the reasons far better than I do.

What I can and will do is to stand by everything that is said in our recruitment post (even though as an interesting story, senior TA members were asked what we should put, O-Neill came along and said "something along the lines off..." and wrote almost everything you see there. So thanks to O-Neill for his contribution there )

~TÅ Massers are a unique instance of a wartime alliance for TÅ. Historically un-precedented, it is up to the individuals who lead that alliance (in conjunction with the TÅ HC) to find the best ways to achieve their goals. Whatever you or your alliance did (as I said I don't know the specifics), it was poorly advised.

Let me just remind you that there is a fine line between "being walked on" and "bullying". We certainly won't be walked on. As for the "bullying" claims, you certainly entertain me Semper. What possible gain could ever arise out of the claims you are making? I certainly don't see any, so why would we (be that TÅF as a whole, or as a part) do anything like that? From a less selfish perspective, we have all been debating how the future lies for this game for some time. The answer lies with the next generation of players, the small guys who deserve the chance to play for fun and enjoy it. If they don't get that chance, then what is left for the game? We don't want to take that chance away from them, so we wont.

Hmm i don't have anything against TA but this caught my attention as less than an hour ago i read a post from Lithium sayin andyone the joins NQ (a training alliance for smaller player) will be massed till they quit...

I honestly don`t see a problem. By my gauge TA are still pritty "meduim"-core, but climbing to hard.

The entire of sgws are hypocrites for sure, ive done it on a few occasions myself (yes...its true!) . Its the way of things, sgws is just a mirror into reality, but in a different perspective, politics, wars and friendships and enemys, still run rife, And they say the game is Dieing? Ha! Speaking of lying and misleading, did the official propaganda pamflet of FUA get a rewrite? I thought TA were the bloodthirtsy wanting to disband you lot, TOB were crumbling and and TLE were the cheaters. I suppose the new directive is just a list of adjectives, to be applied as needed hehe. Practical.

I was referring to TLE when I said cheats. I just added the crumbling as I thought it sounded good and well frankly I can say whatever the frak I want.

Truth is I can not be bothered to keep up with your members on a daily basis to actually know if you are in fact crumbling or are actually growing. As for any memos about propaganda, I wouldn't know, I never read the memos that get passed my way. That is unless they have a naked woman on them, but then that's not really reading them, now is it?
