The only real reason people dislike reading this forum is because some people cannot keep their mouths shut and purposely like to troll others into arguing.

I`ve made 2 attempts at somewhat constructive posts in the last 2 months. Both of them promptly trolled cos they`re critical - by mods.

The problem must really be I... well, we`ll soon see if forum improves with further leaves, won`t we. Know your place & shut your face ftw. Got it. Smoothe noobert, really smoothe. As allways, you`re a real example and inspiration to us all.

I wonder why this place is going to the dogs indeed...

Constructive posts? That is not constructive either, that is criticism of the moderators doing their jobs. Just because you do not like the out come does not make things any more right or wrong.

A simple post can turn a problem into a even worse problem. Take my post for example. It was not directed at you, and yet..here we are, all over a silly assumption. Yet again, arguing over pointless **Filtered**. Sigh..

Meh the reason the forums are going to down hill is because a good portion of the forum community is either TTF or FUALL. And some of the members of these factions cant help but pick a fight in every thread they come accross (see above) and to be honest the rest of cant be bothered to read it.

I think the forums as a whole have become less interesting, and it's not been localised to SGW general.

Ultimately though, everything has its high and low's. With the game itself being in the state it is.. it was only inevitable the forums would suffer too...

One can hope ofc but when faith is lost it takes a miracle, and to right the wrongs atm in game and in forum it will take a nuke.

Admin-ing this forum, Is like trying to push a hungry lion, Up a hill, with lambs who have broken legs sitting at the bottom of said hill, and yourself covered in Gravey, while the lion itself has not eaten in a month, and has also taken a great dislike to you as a person.

Nooberts post was trolling! sorry to say lol and the Mod team should be able to take criticsm without crying insults as we are a offering a public service for free on a public board.

This game, this forum cannot be fixed, I cannot help everyone restore it to its former glory, if the community are not willing to do it.

I can say, with great certainty, that the majority of players are not ready for the sacrifice that would have to be made...

they cling too much to nothing at all.

I have given up trying to think of miracles to perform with this place, if the SGW community refuse to reach the maturity it requires, then I have no more interest in helping it.

I would say though...
The first step on the path to fixing it's problems are for everyone to realise what's wrong and have the courage to change, Brdvas has given a few of them, but by no means all.. and there is no ONE thing responsible, so another good step is to stop trying to find one thing to point the blame at.

People cling to much to something they dont see its about time it goes.

Heck Brdavs is right in his post in regards to the team but tbh even tho the team is part of it so is the very community and the behavour it has. The fact that some other pointed out many threads ended up with bashing and lashing out from both TTF and FUALL and both sides and yes i said it act childish in them now and then does not help.

Here is a pointer with FUALL and TTF being majourity of those active ingame or here its also hard to avoid when pointing at a issue not to end up pointing at FUALL or TTF is the issue heck a good examble was the mod team at some point was like 75% FUALL players or people supporting FUALL at that point it was hard to avoid if there was a rotten able not to say it was a FUALL player sad but true when 3/4 was FUALL do the math. <--- last was a examble made from how the team was made up some time ago havent checked if it still is so just take the examble for what it was thank you. Warning giving so if you take it for anything but a examble then dont come to me with blames.

But true i say first thing we do is remove the easy access to turns that would at least make the game more fun and bring a end to a war that are ever lasting until one side loose will to fight as thats where we are going not that i mind but it is ruining the game more. People atm are leaving this game because of 3 reasons.
1. Ingame stuff such as bad behavour or being massed and like up top most of those leaving does it either due to FUALL or TTF depends who they where unlucky to meet, Or they just got bored of the game also happens.
2. Forum the way the forum has become lately with powerhungry mods acting up and childish and breaking forum rules, biased modding bad without anything happen basicly a disgrace, the fact some users are allowed to insult and others arent, that some take things more personal that others and i could go on as there are alot more i just took some random that came to mind (and yes i know people will point at some of it and claim i took that first on purpose be my guest not my fault you per auto think that at least i was nice to say the truth on why it came out like that).
3. A mix of both.

Thats pretty much the 3 main reasons people leave.

who cares about FUALL and TTF you people are obssessed and have real problems seriously like an addiction
general is always active but if u ever notice half the crap gets moved from here cause its not general and if all u do is hang in the gc well then u know u have alot of issues in life come to this and that or the temple have some fun relax if everytime u log on its trying to find away to prove your right about ur enemy in game then man get a grip on reality this game is about more than just wars if u dont belive it 2 alliances are in a war and have not mentioned it in the 3 weeks they have been in war and quit frankly are still friendly with each other via pm thats proof this game is beyond petty wars the same people keep with the insults from one side while the other side seems to just stop responding with a few exceptions lol sometime we just stopped carring about anything TTF had to say
