Nox and how does it work?
I am hoping that someone can explain this to me. I got hit relatively hard the other day. Pretty good damage and what not. though the the whole nox thing did not seem to have any effect, or at least it didn't show anything in the nox area. How does this work?

Re: Nox and how does it work?
Nox went on holiday for a while. He should be back soon.
Actual answer
Nox protection means that your attacker has to wait for a specified time between attacks and limits the number of ATs that can be used against you in one turn. After the turn change that does not reset, but you can be hit again using an even more limited amount of ATs.
The exact time and number of ATs depends on your realm alert level. In short its not worth using nox unless using critical alert with it.
Re: Nox and how does it work?
Basically it's just protection against being massed, but with NOX on you can't collect any G&R points required to ascend (infact, you lose 1/turn)
The Alert level is the level of time allowed inbetween attacks on you. So the higher your alert level, the longer someone has to wait inbetween hitting you. The higher your alert level the lower your income will be, at critical you gain a small amount of your usually income per turn.
Example: You turn on NOX and Low Alert. If someone tries to mass you, they will have to wait (not sure exactly) a few seconds inbetween hits.
this is useful because they will not be able to "Multi-Click" mass you (Hitting the attack button multiple times before page even loads)
Hope that helped

Re: Nox and how does it work?
Nox + realm alert delay attacking times....
Nox + no realm alert is no delay
Nox + 10% realm alert = 2 sec delay/attack
Nox + 20% realm alert = 4 sec delay/attack
Nox + 40% realm alert = 8 sec delay/attack
Nox + 70% realm alert = 14 sec delay/attack
I believe those were the figures, but not sure...

Re: Nox and how does it work?
also, if you declare war on some1, NOX won't jump in if they attack you.
