and stargateman farming inactives with an army under 10 mill is a pointless waste of time.

When I started playing SGW, I do look for inactives and farm them, but since that was a long time ago and my account grew bigger (from ascending and my army size grew), I stop attacking. For one reason, like Apogryph said, attacking inactives is a pointless waste of time, and two, I get more Naq when I trade off my AT's than me using my AT's, then repair my armory, and replace my Units after trying to stealing even more UU's or Naq.

So I don't really care if you delete the inactives cause I don't find use for them anymore. But if I were a newbie to SGW ya I'll say keep them.

you are missing my point. Some inactives are worth farming, but those are only a handful... deleting the 50k odd accounts under 1 mill would be beneficial to the game all around.

I've got your point first time, but for me it just plain useless for any kind of attacking on both Active and Inactive accounts.

Re: Petition to get tiny inactive accounts deleted

Yeah, get rid of them...its silly to take up space for people who decided not to play the game. If they didn't have the time to put them on vac then they don't want to return.

i hope you realize that what's probably lagging the game are the several hundred active "on the turn" farmers in the "server war" that has been going on for several months(if it's still going on, i stopped checking up on that.)

since "on the turn" typically involves lots of tabs and refreshing one page to make sure you get the cross over fast enough to beat the other people who might be gunning for said Naq.

Edit: after reading the thread, one of the other arguments is the G&R range becomes "smaller". that just isn't true.

Requirements: To ascend you need a minimum of 1000 Glory and Reputation (G & R) points. These points are gained by being in the top 2% of all players in the rankings. (The top 2% of active players, so this number may be slightly different than multiplying the lowest rank by 2%)

others have pointed out the search is part of the game. makes it all the much more worth it.

while you do have a point as far as turn lag is concerned, you completely lost the plot as far as G&R range is concerned. by active that means accounts that are NOT on vacation mode. All of the other accounts are used in the calcualtion, even if they havent been logged into for a few months.

lowest rank by 2%

when you're on Vacation mode, you're taken out of the rankings. at least, last i checked.

which means your "not on vacation mode" argument is false.

Re: Petition to get tiny inactive accounts deleted

I hope mine wasn't deleted. :?

Is it just inactives in the rankings, or inactives that have been on vac mode for a long time?

I dont think it would count vac mode accounts, as vac mode suggests that the user put it there, as vac mode does not auto engage.
Deep within Noob Cave, you find a strange pool filled with a glowing blue liquid. You think back to what your mother told you about unfamiliar liquids found in caves.

You're pretty sure she said "Drink it! What's the worst that can happen?"
