......Semper studying the human condition is regardless of how you name it anthropological studies and psychology is most assuredly the branch you are referring to when you mention weakness especially in a persons character. Now you need not ever have studied psychology to identify and exploit another person some people are just naturals at manipulation it is like a gift to them others work their entire lives at it.
Lie, cheat, steal, murder are all just ways to get where you are going and whilst it is socially frowned upon to do any of those. No matter who you are where you come from what your life is like you lie every day and that is socially accepted, however cheating stealing and murder are typically frowned upon and only overlooked in extreme cases. The human condition promotes all of those aspects because it is typically an instinct to kill rivals to the throne *whatever that throne may be to you* to deny that instinct is a simple matter now though because that particular part of our psyche has been conditioned and trained that murder is wrong.
Asking if animals have souls has no relevance to this topic whatsoever........

I spose you'd never ambush or trap anyone. If you were to go to war, you would not hide behind some shelt while the enemy is firing at you, but stand out in the open like a proud warrior willing to die for his nation. Amirite?
wrong, i would sooner shoot myself than a fellow human being on the say so of some cowardly corrupt official who cares nothing for me or is even aware of my existence, and further more, does not have the testes to go do his own dirty work but sends other's to die for his corrupt ways instead!

Suicide is considered cowardly and thus by extension, dishonorable.

But not everywhere, in Japan suicide is considered quite an honourable way out.

Re: honour or deceit?
i think the real cowards are the military themselves for not turning their guns on our even more cowardly politicians and blasting them all over parliament and the US congress...
but thats an argument for another topic if anyone cares to continue that is...
back on topic:
kit-fox is indeed correct jack, as i'm sure your quite aware.
however, to end ones life because they refuse to take the life of another, i see that as a statement of one who is prepared to sacrifice everything for their principles...
that's not to say i wouldn't butcher someone to death who tries to do me or my family harm

Well, I lie and steal, destroying is but only a consequence, not a cause of me getting what I want.
Anyway, I have no problem with murdering should the reward be worth it and I have, on occasion, blackmailed people.
Been saying this all allong, no admin would listen.
On topic: I place "honor" in the "consolation prizes" box. Next to the "glorious but still dead" and "money cant buy you happines".
Lets be frank here, they don`t say "opportunity makes the thief” for nothing. Dangle 1mil euros infront of a persons nose for a lill "white lie" and you can bet your heine he`ll be counting the purse inside of 30secons without a second thought. hummanum est.

So move to Japan and kill yourself, let's see how much you are honored for it.

I find it hard to believe that the Japanese would find any honor in needlessly killing oneself.
Afterall, you yourself gave an alternative to suicide in the top part of that post.

Why would the admins care about me stealing your girlfriend?

The saying that money can't buy you happiness, while true, is BS. Money can't buy happiness, but without money it's damn near impossible to be happy.

1 million euros to tell a little lie that wont hurt anyone is one thing but what if that lie involved hurting someone, i mean real major damage...could you still do it?
i know i couldn't.

....say that to all the men and women who have fought for your freedom and those of us who have had friends die for your freedom, at least some of us had the courage to sign up in a time of war and serve our country proudly. Think next time you call the US Military cowardly about what your life would be like if you had no military to safeguard your freedoms.
Back on topic its in human nature to succeed regardless of the cost, morals are a man-made thing and are therefore broken because not all people have the same views

If someone was dangling a million euros in my face, I would ask them what they were doing with so much in Euro in Texas, then I would probably shoot them and bury their body out in the Texas desert.
