i would like to know what is so special about being ascended and also why do u hvae to have a multiple of two to get the ss.

Cause forum whished it that way. Seriusly, I don't recall ever seing a 'reason' for it.

Basicaly by ascending you get a whole new game server...
With far far more options than on main. Ascending also gets you a bonus to your shell acount.

the ss cost like over 2k turns thats why and you cant trade 2k at one time only like 1,160 I think!

I think that the market value is around about what ppl were trading with before the market, except ss is prob cheaper to get now. But anyway forum decided to make the values in the market equivelant to $10, and to get ss costs $20, so you have to trade twice to get ss which is easily counted as one transaction if you do a multi-transaction of 2.

Hahaha, thanks Spacey. To be compared to the Guide is a great honour (The book, not the movie) but as far as I'm aware, Xeno already knows about my guide.

Indeed I do know about this most marvelous and vast guide.
But I was afraid in it's superflous magnitude it might put our foolish n00b into a state of shock, for I doubt he yet has the mental capacity to proccess.
Plus if he can't yet use the search, how can he use the guide for anything but ill?

He is young to the cosmos, and is not ready for SS, UUshipments,Naq,Commander,Attack turns,Officers,leadership, or the Dietys Guide. Such is the way of this cruel universe. In time he will be ready, in time he will know that true power comes not from posting a new topic but carefull reading of the stickies.

I personaly preffer 00ff00 as I think it better represents the lighter side of XP/XA/Me. The first time I read this I didn't have time to laugh....I still don't but ribs are breaking anyway.

I am beging to wonder the same thing. Why is it that assended people have the power to destroy people on the mail server. Some but head named ThE_SeeKeR ( Prior of the AJNA ) attacked me here on the main server and ranked 4,516 and totaly destroyed over 3200 of my defence nid's . His damage power was 7,955,968,910 while mine was 3,681,705,648 and I am ranked 9th. What is the point of having an assended server for assended people when they are destroying people here on the main. Seems like to me that nothing has changed and people here on the main are once again traped trying to get enough to survive here with no chance of getting ahead.

The 'Reason' they get to beat the 'naq' out of other players is cause they paid for it. Not only did they go from rank 250- to 18K and spend alot of their UU, lose their UP, weps, SS etc..., they also have to pay for the higher cost of weapons. Once Forum implements Deascension things will get better as they can lose their position. I sense no problem

Besides, the max bonus is 25%... so... it's not like they can just keep going and goin and going. As for the trapped bit...
Your at #9 and annoyed, i'm at #3-4K and optimistic, so ATM i think the n00bs are fine. The only time I was ever afraid of not getting ahead was when some higher ranker (former officer of yours I think :wink:

) started beating up on me...But he forgot about his covert and it was all sorted out fast.

We must also remember that with commanders, the growth curve is actualy faster... It probably took my commander three months to do what i've done in 1.5.
Again, this n00b is happy and looking forward to ascension.
