So What are YOUR Reasons for Being in the Server War?

Well, i saw this thread and thought, damn i'm gonna have to post a long one to answer that. Fortunately most of the facts have already been covered.

TÅ has been to war with OE and DDE more times than we count using our fingers. Everytime the war would end, we would get a few weeks of peacetime, then someone else would hit us, mass some of our members and we would end up back at war. Zeek got it right.

as usual fuall was farming TA, TA was farming back and TA was getting massed for farming.

As Mathlord said, we fight now to protect ourselves in the future. The war, short peace, war cycle against the same opponents time after time cannot go on. We've had enough. No matter what propaganda is said against us, we are just simply defending ourselves as we have always done. Just as we did when Omega was formed and first attacked us. Personally I can't see a diplomatic solution to this. Even with a year long NAP we would be back at war after (or based on past events, before) it ends. We will just fight for as long as it takes to defend our future.

My personal reasons are the same as nooberts, but from the different side. I joined TÅTS when I was a small player, was shown to play the game by a great group of people here in TÅ. I repaid that by being elected to the TÅTS senate, then to the Tauri Ålliance High Council. In essense, TÅ are the reason why I played for so long, and why I came back again. If it wasn't for the great people here in TÅ, this game just wouldn't be for me.

Just wanted to add.. that one of the reasons blahh and zesh left TLE and started farming mayhem was they felt betrayed.. it was like your prom date waiting till the limo showed up to tell you she was going with someone else. In fact the TA/Mayhem war was cut short because Mayhem were supposed to be becoming allies. Given hindsight, someone should have seen that move coming given dralegs relationship with mayhem. But Hindsight is always 20/20.

All things considered though, war between the two biggest kids on the block will always happen. Its the nature of things especially in a online war game.

I cant speak for what happens to people to make them stop playing.. obviously many old names have stopped playing in the 11+ months since this started, most for rl reasons or simple loss of desire to play. I just remember the emotions that were displayed at the start of the thing. Who is aesir?

TAF cause lets face it TLE with all its movado is no more now its 3 independant alliances down from the 4 it had as an empire

TA F is the major factor this war still even is on like everyone says they farm trills off of FUALL.. right why is that if FUALL is at war with more than just the server war alliances? its because only TAF and a few others are actually fighting us .. yes DDE and OE have drifted and focused on its other wars but every so often we come back when we see need to hit TAF Qacol mathlord Archangell and some others are always there to motivate us agin ... Thanksguys We do in all honesty start to get lazy and forget who our prime targets are...

on the otherside OE still has alliances from the begining of the war and its new addition mayhem as well as Pi who is growing by the day
DDE still has its original 3 alliances with the addition of DoO in the wars first month and DoB and DSL a few months ago the empire coninues to grow yes both sides have lost players and some were tag hiders others just got bored of the war or real life issues as one of our members passed away a week ago things happen

this war cannot end because there is one side who truely hates us and well we for the most part are some of us just want whats left of TTF to admit defeat and well the rest of us dont care we fight cause its the only thing we like to do

Allegedly Im in this server war, not that anyone seems to know it or care.

I think I farmed someone. There was some yelling and name calling. Someone called the Feds. I was threatened with entry into the server war. Repeatedly. There was some official postage of my entry into the server war (see page 719?? of official war thread 68??). Repeatedly. Some time passed. Nothing really happened. More time passed. Still nothing happened.

I dont even know what side I'm on. I hope we're winning, lol. Nice naqs to be had though.

I read about 3 posts of this before I realised I dont really care. I have no clue about all your inter-alliance politics. Group A is massing Group B etc etc. Group B says Group A couldnt perform a mass in the Vatican City etc etc. Some time passed. UU's died. And here we are!

So are we winning?

Omega and DDE have done a nice job at constantly shifting personnel around and adding newb accounts to feign activity, it's quite cute

Seriously though, this war is being fought by basically the same people who were fighting it in September and October. Those select few with the best fighting skill and best fighting accounts determine the course of the war. The farmers and the inactives are ancillary to that.

Now for anyone who is active, this war has been a tremendous growth opportunity. Even for those who don't show it in army size, plenty of other parts of their accounts have seen positive development.

I never said they weren't promoted, but really your promoting standards must be pretty low. Granted for how little your leadership (you the most) does in-game, I suppose it's understandable. But you know what? I must thank you so much for your recruiting drive. See, for awhile there it was getting not very proffitable to farm DDE anymore, then all of a sudden you jumped up the inactives who fill your ranks and VOILA! NAQAPALOOZA.

About the honesty comment, all I got to say is once again such class coming from you REK...now I suppose I should call you a crossdresser so you threaten to come find me and beat me up eh?

id kick your ass regardless but thats cause ill never be anything more than a thug ... it dont bother me im honest about who and what I am and for a fact our leadership is extremely active it just shows your grasping at straws a post ago u said we were shuffling players no kid we have a whole load of new members its what we have always done so maybe its hard for u to swallow but this war has not changed my empire in any way we still do what we do when we do it ..

if im inactive your leadership must have quit the game ...
