Giving Thanks

Recently I stumbled upon another game that was advertised on the StargateWars banner, and begun to play it a bit here and there.

I had a bug recently on this game, reported it, and my thread continously kept being pushed down by people screaming 'OMG MY CITIES ARE LEVEL 0 GIVE IT BACK OR I WILL QUIT!' I got warned for bumping my post to the top, an hour apart.

So I just wanted to give thanks to the Moderators(excluding myself) and Admins for doing a great job, all their hard work, and not being power abusive **Filtered** like the other game.

So here's to you for making this a tolerable place.

i have also played another game where the mods were **self-filtered** on a couple of levels...

if you said damn, you were in trouble.
you had to get permission to send more than a tiny bit of resources, and only to a smaller player... (like here rank was relative...), unless you were extorting someone...

you had to be in war to mass...

and you couldn't be in war if you weren't in an alliance.

but yeah, the mods and admins here are great! all very friendly and are quite fair!

lol I played the new version of Realm Battles for a bit. Then admin for that game decided to cut down everyone's recources by a factor of 4. So my UP went from 100k->25k and i lost a bunch of crap. Then people bugged the admins to restore everything and they did, which caused a bunch of bugs. Now I come by and check every month and the bugs still aren't fixed.

anyway it was a game where the only way to get an account you could compete with was $$.

I'm thankful that the admins have stuck to the 'no-reset' policy - I used to play two other games like this, both with 'non-reset' main servers. One reset after I'd been playing for a year, the other after 18 months. 2 years into SGW and we're still reset-free!

TC, the new RB was so poor it was unreal.

I think we have had minor resets to a few turns before, so technically we did have some resets only minor though

5 years i have been playing so i think im faithfull to it and if it ever did reset to the start i would be pissed but it wont

and hugs for mods aswell
