Loss of earnings

Not sure if the admins are aware of this already but I thought I'd post it up anyway.

Has anyone else noticed that when they are giving their officers a % naq boost and the officer either ascends or changes his name i.e you don't kick them, you permanently lose whatever % bonus you were giving them?

My officer ascended last week at some point so I lost him as an officer yet my income didn't go back up to what it would have been before I started giving him a % boost. He readded me and started earning the same per turn off me again yet my income didn't change.
And last night he changed his name which also dropped him as my officer and again my income didn't rise back up to what it should be. So basically 30% of my income is floating around in space somewhere

Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Try setting your officer % to 10 and then back to 30.

Try becoming your own officer then boot yourself.

Try booting another officer and then have them come back.

Any of the 3 should reset your income. It does happen from time to time.
