Another Sig Question By Colton
Is there an exporting format that's capable of animation but still preserves transparency?

if you want Just transparency use .PNG
But if you want animation use .GIF it gives you transparency but not as good as .PNG does

nope sorry, .GIF is the only animated one, let alone animated with transparency.

Re: Another Sig Question By Colton
Does anyone know of a way to shape the canvas, other than a simple rectangle?

There are plenty of shapes to choose, from the defaults of photoshop to the random shapes made by you with the pentool or whatever selection. Just make a selection then go to edit/define shape... name it so that you can recognise it easy then voila: a custom shape.

perhaps to further clarify, your canvas will always be rectangular. Using a transparent background and then using a shape/custom shape will give you the final design shape you desire, but the canvas itself cannot be reshaped.
If i'm wrong on that, someone correct me, since i've not seen any custom canvas tools.

Ah **Filtered**... i misunderstood your question. You cannot shape the canvas. It is always rectangular. You can define shapes and cut out the extra and set that transparent so that the final image doesn`t look rectangular. However, the picture will always be defined by the 2 dimensions (width and hight), thus be rectangular.
