Personally, I dont take pain killers unless necessary. Head aches, its better to deal with them without panadol. However, if pain killers are prescribed, I have no qualms with that.

Pain, is a good things. Love it. Need it. Couldn't live without it. However, pain for a constantly period isnt good and one should consider talking to a doctor.

Right now, I have a toe which has suffered a drop of 50kgs onto it. A headache amoung other things. Im not going to take drugs, im only going to drink water and have a good nights rest. Why, because usually your body can take care of itself, and is more efficient and permanent than drugs.

Another thing is i dont run this risk of ODing.

Saying many prescription drugs are unnecessary, yes on case by case basis, but not as a whole. And on my case, Im not a wuss, and I wont complain about pain. Just take it as life is. Without pain, we wont have life.

and to some peoples they might need to know weed is not in any sense medicinal or usefull.

I am personally part of people who are 100% in favour of total ban towards them. Also in favour of drastic policy from authorities, to fight actively dealers and drug distribution, to limitate the most arrival of said drugs, to prevent all damages they do on people. Addiction, heart attacks, brain damages, overdose, violence, black market...
i'm wondering if everyone is also totally against them, unless there are also drugs consumers among debaters who would try to defend their point of view as well...

been away for a week (in hospital) and have only just got back and not had time to read this whole thread but rest assured...i will get around to it soon...

but first this, everyone here has to understand that our govts dont want drugs removed from the streets, they only remove the independent drug dealers, and that's what we hear on the news.

If your not a total prick then you wont run the risk of 'OD'ing' as you put it on any drug. If you do manage to OD then obviously you've done something wrong, not the drug. Stop passing the buck and trying to shift responsibility for your actions.

Oh and btw I really do honestly dare you to tell someone with MS or degenerative osteoarthritis that life without pain isnt life.

Alot say it is illegal, and all 'medical cannabis' is literally a placebo effect. Tho it does alter the mind, to calm them down. But over lil medicinal use and most use is not for medical. Overall, it is useless.

And please dont say something retarded like your the only human immune to the effects becuase your not, no one is and that is an empirical fact as proven by solid research in psychology (ie that the effects of pain affect everyone)

To nutshell it and I will expand on it if you'd like (although something tells me you wont) pain is to your mind what the A-bomb was to hiroshima & nagasaki. Pain and especially constant (chronic) or terminal pain destroys a persons psyche. You become less than you were.

Hence all forms of drugs & treatments that might help manage pain are valid and acceptable, if only for the fact that such treatments help preserve your pschye by essentially creating something akin to the great wall of china between the pain and your psyche.
