its just a bug / badly designed feature. There was a problem with the way the new battle system worked.. meaning some attacks ended up giving 10,000x the amount of Naquadah they were supposed to. Once this was worked out, it was taken advantage of, until some accounts and quadrillions of naquadah.
i never managed to get one of the "lucky hits". I just stole naq off people who had.
