Some of you would know that ive been a college student since the start of 2008, and in that time ive grown to realise certain things about myself, and in general what i can and cannot do. as of the end of this semester, (jun-july being the end) the course i am doing will not be tought anymore. and on the whole, the management of the college i attend has been abismal, and in the midst of it i feel like ive been falsely lead on by the college staff amongst other people.
for a while now College has been a source of ill feelings towards everyone and everything, and i feel that its time for me to move on from tertiary education, get my head straight and maybe return to it in a few years if i could be bothered. as an example, in 2008, every term that went by held some sort of depressing event, which lead to multiple emotional breakdowns. so you can understand my need to move on, emotionally, spiritually, all that jazz...
so the time has come for me to move on from tertiary education as ive said, and with that brings a long list of dramatic changes in my life, changes that will shape my future, where i go, what i do, everything. in the midst of this I just dont know how long i can last.
with those changes i mentioned, i need to be able to approach the situation with a certain level of concentration, this being the case, i have decided after a long 2 weeks of thought, that i can do without the added distraction of StarGate Wars.
Firstly i'd like to thank Audryanna aka MLH, for your loyalty and friendship for a number of years now, even before i joined Serenity. i really appreciate everything you have done, the sacrifices etcetera, all of it. im thankful ive known you and papa, both of you i wish good luck in whatever happens from here.
Second i'd like to thank Easy for giving me this opportunity (to be involved with S/FS), and i hope i havent disappointed. i truly respect you and FS as a whole, both for the warring strength ingame, and for your personalities, the diferent characters involved.
Third, i want to thank NomadicStruggler, your friendship ever since when i joined Phoenix Rising alongside you, i really appreciate. Thankyou, truly.
next i want to thank all the members of S/FS that i havent mentioned thus far, i apologise for my short time with you all, fighting alongside you all was worth spending the time i think. you all have my respect as SGWers, and as people.
and next, i want to thank teh spammerz... you have helped get me through a lot over the last 3+ years that ive played.
Next, i want to thank Biscuit, Albel and MickeyT, the time we spent working on the TDW project i found to be a great learning experience. if it werent for you guys i probably would've quit ages and ages ago.
and another next.... (booyah) i want to thank Ralgar and Phoenix Rising. i joined you guys in a time of change both ingame and in real life, thankyou for being a great help in my SGW history, my growth and thanks for the laughs..... (i dont want to quote Fallout Boy here, i dont like 'em.
)to my brothers/sisters from NAOS Requiem, most noteably Heka, Reddy, TheLastSniper, Stormn and Makdee, thankyou. you guys were the backbone of what ive become. i still remember when reddy recruited me at the end of 2007 still sitting on a 1.3 mil army size and in general being a really REALLY sad excuse of a player. you showed me how to grow originally. cheers.
and even further back (if there are still any of you out there), the Tyndale guys who got together and made a few alliances here and there, even though back then i wasnt as active, it was an experience.
i'll be vaccing my account momentarily so i may yet return. unlikely for now though. teh soul isnt dead yet
and no, this doesnt mean im retiring from the forums either, try as i might, this forum (in particularly the spam temple) is my interwebby home.... i cant just leave
