Asgards are far away in advantage!!

in regards to this thread... all I can say is COME ON.... there is nothing wrong with the techs... I was tauri... now I am tollan... preascention... I had a very large def... although expensive it can be done... my attack was off the chain... and I hit asgard repli's... anyone... if there was naq out I hit them... although yes... I did hit the holograms... I still got tons of naq... so by all means... just play the game... and stop complaining about the techs... because they are fine...

You are right - the parts of this thread that complain about the Asgard technology being too powerful are somewhat silly. However, the simple fact that the Goa'uld and Replicator technologies are a cut below the Asgard and Tau'ri is not. They should be brought into line.

Forum already recognised that the Goa'uld technology was severely underperforming and so he increased it's %-age a little a while back. When the time comes for him to evaluate how the technologies are doing, I would bet 50,000 UU that he will increase or improve the Replicator and Goa'uld techs a little more.

and that I can agree with... but for everyone complaining about the asgard and the tauri being either to powerful or not powerful enough... get over it... they are well configured races...

look if you don't like (adresses everyone) your race and you think another race is at an advantage dont complain about that advantage just change your race.

It's not just about people not liking their race. It's about the game being fair and balanced. I'm a Systemlord, but I still want the Goa'uld and the Asgard to be balanced. It has nothing to do with what race I am. If you think the game is unbalanced, explain why. There's no reason to just keep quiet about it. If you're wrong, you can bet your ass there's someone on these forums that will point out where. No harm done. The balance of the races will most likely be an ongoing discussion. I'd rather have 10 threads complaining about the balance than wake up one morning and find out everyone is an Asgard.

totally agreed with the initial post (I didn't read all the rest because is too much).
The only thing that I have to say (and is not about % of anything) is:
any time I see the word HOLGRAM in my battle report, I immediately click attack, put 15 in the little box and click again. That is how I see the Assgrad special tech from my Tau'ri point of view.

And no, the Asgard don't have too much of an advantage - if you'd have played all the races, you'd know they mostly balence out. Personally, I think Reps have it worst, but only just.

yes, this discussion has come and gone...i thought it was over with....and it seems very stupid coming from someone with a mere 4 posts, common, become active and MAYBE people will start to think you ideas more seirously...IF they havent been said 500 times before, asgard are great, yes, but so are the other races

i don't know much about other races, but from what i can tell Asgard are no better off than Tau'ri - sure, their holograms suck, but it is a relief to find out that the asgard with twice as many defensive points as you have offensive points not do a thing due to you falling back fast

from what i can tell, replicators are only good with very experienced players who can take advantage of their spying abilities to make it so enemies can't spy on them

I think this dicusion goes and returns because: is not ended! When we start with this game we see this, asgard have the advantage. I can show this and my first probe is this: the discusion never dies because there is something to talk about.
An other probe (an the definitive one) is found when you click Ranking. If you do this you can see:

....wait a minute!: there are more tau'ri (maybe the default value when you start is tauri) but any way the Asgard are more powerful and there are more Asgard (really more) in the top 1000. Do you need more probes about the asgard advantage? If you need more then I bet you are an asgard.

I don't complain. I just say this is wrong and then kick the Asgard ass when I see the word HOLOGRAM in my battle report. Thats it.

"**Filtered**" about the Asgard tech is not necessary. It is fine. The sane(er) amongst us in this thread have concluded that the Asgard and Tau'ri techs are fine, and that the only change needed is a slight enhancement of the Replicator and Goa'uld techs to bring them into line with those of the tau'ri and Asgard.

If this thread is going to finish its fall into the realms of "OMG!!! teh Assgard are teh win and I h4t3 j00!!1111oneone" then it should be moved and or locked.
