Even as, or perhaps even especially as, a creationist it would be rather foolish to believe that this is the only inhabited planet in the universe, as it would basically be saying that god created all the other planets and galaxies in vein and creationists are to believe that nothing was done in vein. Furthermore, it is also plausible to be both a creationist and believe that there exists a species with the capability to travel to and fro galaxies is a timely manner, as all it would require is the belief that is possible that there a exists a species in the universe that, throughout it's history, it was more concerned with scientific pursuits than religious/war.
After all, how many times have we humans reached a level of technology similar to that of the 1800s? Granted many of those past technologies were quite crude! But again, we were limited by our drive for conquest.

What happens in ten years?

I find myself asking the same question. I mean like, he just basically echoed my point, while trying to challenge mine argument.
