Your Current Racial Makeup

I couldn't find it on Help&Rules sections, so i'm still in blind mode here.
So.
Are 3 customs that can be made:
1. Race Personality Type
2. Race Social Structure / Unit Types Examples
3. Race Technology Path

While,

#1. So if U are ascended, U'll don't do This, but If U are non-ascended, U all need to know that we have 4 race and this are the names:
Exploiter = Goa*'uld
Protectionist = Asg*ard
Invasive = Repli*cator
Aggressive = Tau*'ri
and depends on U'r first race chose.

#2. We have 8 different types, the first 4 are for non-ascended and the last 4 are for the ascended one.
So U'r race will be like this:

Exploiter = (non-ascended) Slave and Control = (ascended) Enslave and Dominate

Protectionist = (non-ascended) Clones and Copied Consciousness = (ascended) Hologram and Stored Consciousness

Invasive = (non-ascended) Self Replicating AI = (ascended) Evolved Replicating AI

Aggressive = (non-ascended) Human Military = (ascended) Militaristic

#3. So if the #2 it's clear, this mean the #3 it's clear also, cause now We talk about Weapons for this new Race. So this are the connection:

Exploiter = (non-ascended) Naquadah Based = (ascended) Enhanced Naquadah Based

Protectionist = (non-ascended) Alien = (ascended) Ancient

Invasive = (non-ascended) Nano Technology = (ascended) Advanced Nano Technology

Aggressive = (non-ascended) Traditional/Re-engineered Military = (ascended) Advanced Science and Military Tech

Now, What I didn't understand, is:
I can change #2 or/and #3 without changing #1?
If I can, what are the bonuses for the Weapons and Unit trains?
Why I wanna change #2 or #3 if I don't know what I gain from this.

Race Personality Type (bonus): Decides you bonus, either att, def, covert, or income like the base races have always done. All ascended are the same

Race Technology Path (weapon&tech): Cosmetic, give you the chance to name your weapons as any race has, so you can be a "ex asguard/asguard" race with Tauri weapon names

Race Social Structure (units):

Cosmetic, gives you the chance to call your units different names, so you can be a Tauri with replicator unit names

You can change any of the three independantly, the only one that will do anything is the first one as it sets your "non ascended" bonuses, but if you ascended then it doesnt matter as all ascended bonuses are the same, #2, and #3 and all cosmetic, no gain or loss of any kind.
