I have long since been gifted with a personal colour.. so all in all the only reasons I could see for being a mod are those of power. Although.. I would suggest any newbie would want to be a mod as it's a good way to start taking steps up from the bottom of the social food chain.

well, from where i'm sitting, the mod/admin i respect the most is bazsy?
i know he does a different job from all the other mods and administrators but hes really the backbone of these forums and one of the most motivated and interest people i've met here!
and is probably better because hes avoided all the childish politics that goes on in these forums.
