I was sat here a few minutes ago, Finding myself genuinely disgusted at preceedings. Tell me i take it too seriously, or that i have been spoilt by the quality of my opponents over the years...

But when you fight someone, You expect a fight, At least, I do. I will build something, i expect you to do the same, i will attack you, i expect you to do the same, if its possible, we will arrange a time to do on line battle, Even if you genuinly dislike your opponent (its happened to me twice) i have always done my best to give a real war to someone. If you sit on your opponent, and they refuse to make anything to kill, And attack you say, once or twice a week when they get a moment of inspiration, This is not a war, this is not a fight, this is simply embarrassing for me, And the person who is doing this.

Its not a question of honour, its a question of haveing a bit of dignity and actually doing some soldiering. I simply cannot abide these people who wallow in the dirt, allow themselves to be smashed to shreds and offer little to no resistance, but also refuse to surrender or accept defeat when they clearly have been defeated, if this is the case at least fight back with what you can, no?. Its a take take take attitude and its the wrong attitude to take. I remember when people used to offer you there resources if you'd defeated them in battle, now they wont even offer you a defence worth massing. Nowadays we congratulate what few people offer a little skill, a little charisma and a little talent, But why do so few do it? Its a disgrace.

Just wondering if i was the only one who felt like this, Or if i am infact, getting so old that ive lost touch with the game, and this is now just commanplace and everyone enjoys lacking good spirit, honour and fun.

Buck its not you getting old or losing touch it is a genuinely disgusting way to play the game and the few of us who do build things worth massing only have a couple of people on the other side who actually return the favor so it becomes pointless to rebuild

Recently its been getting bettter: Kudos to DDE recently for offering decent wars. I know i loved PP vs TDD and there was pleasant convo and decent stats to hit. Hope everyone can start doing this as well.

Yes but this is it, if said people sit on nothing, And yet attacked once or twice, and occasionally mass, yet offer nothing in return, where do we go from there? Its pointless, and pathetic. If someone is not equal and they genuinely cant fight back, then surrender, no?

if i recall they start the fight because your alliance with their turn farming didn't give them a chance to have a peace game

I know how you feel old friend, until a few days ago I felt much the same way but inside of hard times we can sometimes find our true calling and times can change.

Myself, and Mayhem have always built defenses during our wars. **Filtered**, just take Yoyo for an extreme example.

It aint just you Buck, i feel the same way. If you war some one you BOTH have to maintain a decent def at all times. Every one must have some thing to mass. Atm most of the wars out there are just pathetic , people sitting idle, others massing people non-stop and building lil to nothing in return. IMO they are terrible players and just 110% crap at the game. If you can't hold up a decent def and war properly -- don't even bother trying to be in one. If you went into some of the big wars you could easily spy on 100 people and see 90 without a def, 7 with a lil def and 3 with a decent def; but those are just the numbers these days...

The few times I've either been involved in conflict with you or been a direct watcher on conflict that involves you, you haven't done anything. You've always relied on others to fight your battles.

Now perhaps I've experienced the exceptions but exceptions or not, they make this rant of yours rather hypocritical because for you, it hasn't mattered if they keep a defence.

Should check the Prime attack logs and you will find Buck does far more as you seem to 'know' he does.

This little rant being about me and my alliance I'll respond..

Personally I agree with Tekki, buck spends 4 days a week on PPT even when I build a 'defense' he isn't the one to take it all he's really done this war is farm and post on forums. I built a 200b Defense 23 times this war before I got bored of only five or six people in your entire empire of 80 returning the favor and resorted to this tactic, in other words why the hell should I build anything if over 90% of your empire isn't?

In response I suggest you check my last post in our little war thread, cause after Im done with Tyber your next for this little duel.


Also at the post above mine, under 10 attacks from buck on my alliance in the last 24 hours, he's been off PPT for around that time and has had sufficient time to spam forums. He may still 'farm' but I've yet to see him mass anything, I know I've massed him several times this war.
