I think its real funny how everyones trying to pass the "buck" by saying this was jasons decision, As anyone informed to the forum who has been an admin knows, jason does not frequent here often enough to make a proper decision about the place unless he has been given all the fact by everyone. What is particularly interesting, it is claimed by the admins that they didnt want this to happen, yet, as i said, knowing from experiance, if you dont want something to happen, you simply turn around, stand your ground, and say no, i dont think that IS a good idea. But non of them have done that, clearly.

Its also interesting to note that everytime i mention that particular fact, everyone in orange reads it, then does a dissapearing act, hopeing that i'l stop saying it so they can carry on pretending they did everything they could.

Unknown? :-\ You are not supposed to be replaced until September 1st. Seems logical to assume you'll retain your present power/role until then, or is your replacement standing by??

My replacement has accepted their promotion before the admins had the courtesy to inform me that I am being dismissed.

Jack, Deni and I are technicly still there. We only wont do any modding untill they day that the GM's involved are officially "booted"

But, i see that Lore and Robe are now General Mods yet have admin colours, like seriously get a grip, any wonder the community dont know who to contact.

They have always been in the GM group since their start of the admin period

As per what Jason wrote in that meet, im not 100% sure he knows the full extent to what happens around this place, going on his words, it be like working for a company and being an executive for it, but when a new CEO takes over you get moved back down to line manager, as it works better with a new team.

Jason doesnt visit these boards often enough to even have a clue on whats going on. He bases his calls on what is told to him. Has been that way for 4 years.

If it wasnt broken you shouldnt have tried to fix it, you removed ( or where trying to ) remove active mods who where here everyday, for well who???? and still leave mods in there who shouldnt be there, and inactive ones etc.

Great way for the new admin team to get started, truly a sad state of affairs, and on a final note.

Try telling that to Jason cause I used the exact words u did. Only i think i havent been as nice in my approach

Squishie as far as i know its pretty active around here

Solus, 12k posts, and id say 99.9% of them in spam temple, awesome choice a spammer as a general mod, i have never seen this person post full stop, i guess cause i have things to talk about and not just spam the place up.

Why don't yall give them a break and a chance... if they can't hack it then im sure they'll get replaced but really how would you have felt with this kind of reaction to your potential appointment, hmmm? Show some decency or you'll just start to prove that yall being sacked was a good move.

Knight is a mod of the Chaos section so probably why posts haven't really been seen, looking through his last few posts he's active in the Newbie forum which I see as a good thing.

Not sure about Squishie as I only know things I've been told but I've heard good things so probably a good choice

Solus also mods the spam temple and misc boards (I think) and does a very good job of it, very active and also a good mod

Cappy's a good mod, market mod and very up to date on what is going on in her section of the forum.

So all in all the new choices do seem good, but the issue that's being argued is the way in which the old general mods have been let go.

After talking with a few people in PM, its clear this is all for someones personal gain, cause lets face it, if ya'll really give a crap about this community this would not have happened,

Also there are no point in mods posting in this thread as they will be all for it, as its not them being removed,

Being a mod in a spam section of the forums, whoopie do, you need a mod who is active in general and GC, not the bloody spam temple, as for chaos, does anyone actually play that game now, since its "remake" if i remember rightly when it got its relaunch, the admin at the time basically said dont like it, dont play, hey maybe you should promote them too.

So yes, continue to hammer what is left of this place into the ground, then when its only the mods and there friends left you can all have a party.
