This thread is someone selling an account. The ID of that account (so the new owner tells me) is id=1909457 (now with a new legitimate owner, bought today Aug 4th 2009). That account I believe was sold by HippyFool who plays 66478.

The thread above shows Lord Blackhole replying to HippyFool, mentioning id 1909457 as a "friend" of HippyFool.
In the post below HippyFool says:

But whoever it is, i don't know em...or if i do happen to know em, they would never have sent me resources

Fire Fly was my only RL friend left on this game.

There are other people that lend me naq of course, but i always pay em back

Taking that conversation into account, and by looking at the ingame trade brokers of id 1909457 there is this:

In those trades, HippyFool is 66478 and ~Bullseye~ is 1909457.

Please note that ~Bullseye~ is the new legitimate owner of this account. If any cheating is/was found to be going on then punishment should not be dealt to id 1909457 as it has a new owner.

This account 66478 was originally brought to my attention when someone showed me the thread where he was buying 500m uu. viewtopic.php?f=130&t=147653

I could be wrong about this, and if I am then I apologise, but something just doesn't smell right.

In the conversation above between Lord Blackhole and HippyFool.... HippyFool says that Fire Fly was his only RL friend. The Fire Fly account was id=35301. In this thread viewtopic.php?f=162&t=146176 That very account 35301 is being sold, and appears to have been sold on Jul 9th 2009. That account I believe was being sold by HippyFool. But I believe the now new owner is legitimate.

Please note that the conversation between Lord Blackhole and HippyFool took place in June, whereas the broker took place in July. However, seems odd that he now does a trade with it.

it may not be but he still may have some involvment regardless. sorry be annoying clarky but blackhole is in some major stuff me and him and had a conversation a while back it was informing of how this game apparently really works.

Anyway, on a more serious note, I have no issue with being called a multi, I can see how many of my activities are highly suspicious...especially seeing as my account goes through such huge sums of resources.

Let me try to explain my situation as best i can:

This has been going on for 2 reasons. 1) UU selling has been slow the last few weeks. 2) I have continued to buy UU for $$ while selling, hence me not running out.

Yes i bought this account. (and yes the new owner is legit, please don't chase after him). The offer on the account was too good to refuse. I got my GF to use the account while i worked out what to do with it. The resources were sent to me (hippyfool - 66478). As i had made my money back from the resources, i let me GF sell the shell and keep the money. The forum account was made and used by both of us because she wasn't exactly an expert on selling. If you can check the IP on the forum user you should see 2 IPs (mine and hers).

So yes I suppose i am a forum multi, but technically not an sgw multi.

In those trades, HippyFool is 66478 and ~Bullseye~ is 1909457.

You will find that lord blackholes accusation of me knowing 1909457 was well before i bought the account. I truly had no idea who it was when he accused me of this. When i say "HippyFool wrote: Cant find ID-1909457....what is their name?" that was because the account was on vacation. I know this because the person who eventually sold it to me had been on vacation for quite awhile. So i truly had no idea who they were, and had never traded with them before i bought the account.

I don't see what is suspicious here?
Firstly, no account has 500m, so i could only buy in smaller chunks over time, but i needed 500m so thats what i advertised.

secondly, if you think i was buying 500m because i would put some on hippyfool, and some on all my other 'multies' then you are wrong. I can easily do this without having any multies:

my account is only 30m in size, therefore i could have gotten 500m at once. 3x 166m brokers is possible at once. I then accept one, sell the UU, accept the next one, sell the UU etc etc which is very possible on an 8 day ppt. If i still have heaps of UU left over i simply train it as nonsuper attack units until i can ppt again.

I bought that account as well, my GFs little bro (16yo) wanted to play and make money himself (as 16yo's do) so i bought him the account with a deal that he would give me the resources the account generated until he had payed me back what i bought it for. This plan fell through when lord blackhole smooshed the 8t+ defense on the account. We decided that it wasnt worth it if the account was being sat on so he sold it, payed me back, and ended with a nice little profit.

And yes i realise that you are all going to rip me to shreds and say 'lololol multi multi, pretend GF! pretend GF brother!' - but whatever, you wont understand until you see that I simply do not need multies to do what i do in this game. The thread is plain to see that I buy alot of UU with $. It is plain to sell that i sell alot of UU for naq, and it is plain to see that i sell alot of naq for $. There is no cheating involved in that, and really having multies would just be a complete waste of time...time which i dont have much of between uni and work.

I have sold probably around 5-8 trillion UU, and over 3quadrillion naq.... I have many many many trades like that and couldn't tell you who half of em were with.

I must say, i do not like the way you play, buying uu with $$ selling it for naq then selling the naq for $$. it is ruining the game(taking advantage of stupid rates liek srsly WTH is with the diff rates), however, if its making you money and thats how you wish to play so be it. good luck

Fair point, however i am not the only person doing it, and if i don't then someone else will take my place anyway...

I have done my fair share of proper playing, and have donated maybe $400-500 to the actual game through SS and USSs. Had i not done the trading that i do, then i could not have donated any of that money as I am a poor uni student lol.

So in some ways you can argue I am killing the game, and in other ways you could argue that I am helping to keep it alive....all depends on perspective i suppose.

Or we could equally you're infact killing 2 servers! last time I played Quantum you were pouring as much $$ a week into it as possible, giving all those not spending the $ fair chance.

And to the comment "If I don't do it someone else will" it's people following that attitude that got us where we are today. Once upon a time people sold "spare" resources. You can't even argue the fact they're spare. Yes other people do trade for $$ but apart from yourself and 12agnorak (although him not so much of late) no one regularly trades in teh same quantities.

Admin really should do something about those people playing just for the sole purpose of making $ with no real interest in the game. The game could quite happily survive without them.
