im only talking about a particular upgread that frowed the balence of the game of....so in the end with all things of the begining being echuel goauld are riped of 50k at every 1 mil.....we are not talking about race bonus(goauld do have 25% more income....but asgard have more then 25 more defence so they can protect the naq...and so on with tauri attack...this is not the isue)....we are talking about the upgread that made weapons cheper for tauri/asgard....and made these 2 races economise more then the goauld...even if they have more bank size....because lets be real....the naq will be sonner or later invested in weapons...and then most probably sold for spy levels or unit production....so this is not write...

i got to a extreamly good unit production and a income of 500k+ with no help ....but for this i had to sacrafice much of my defence...this is all to cheep up with the top players...and i still cant cheep up so i have to invest more in unit production...so my defence will have to waith...so il be reaching soone a 600k income/turn and i have (compared to others0 a minuscular income....and with deposits 1 every turn...and a upgread of unit production at 3 mil+ haw can i stop geting robed?.....the botom line with limiting deposits is as i sad befor....wath is the purpos of it....it limits the posibility of acces to the upgread for the goaulds(the no bank fees).....anything else? NO...so there is no reason for it to remain...

give one reason for it to be arowend....

Income 600k you say. Let's set up a schedule then.

Turn 1: Hand: 600k -> don't bank
Turn 2: Hand: 1.2M -> Bank
Turn 3: Hand: 600k -> don't bank
Turn 4: Hand: 1.2M -> Bank
Turn 5: Hand: 600k -> withdraw 2.4M, you can buy your unit production upgrade. If the upgrades get more expensive you can even wait another turn before withdrawing.

See? In 5 turns you used 2 bank turns. Let's say you're on 20 hours per day. That's 40 turns. You'd need 16 bank turns. So? No problem eh? Learn to take at least a small risk, and don't bank every turn. Makes for a much more exciting game. And if someone does steal your 1 turns woth of naq, you laugh em square in the face cause they could have had a way better target if they looked around a bit.

forgive_me wrote:so try this calculations and tell me were i am wrong....

a goauld user and a tauri user ....each have 1 mil naq and invest in wath the particular upgread gave them as extra...

goauld deposits the naq....he economises 50k naq....then he buys the weapons for attack...top weapons...and sels them...finisd value from 1 mil after all proceses is ~ 798k naq

tauri user dose the same proces...deposits the naq....loses 50k naq....withdrows the naq(950k) and buys top weapons....then sels them.....finishd value after all proceses ~842k

so is this fair?.....same proces for bouth races.....involves the upgread......its to see wath the economising is for every race infolved in the test.....

You do this a lot forgive_me :P In your calculations you totally neglected that the Goa'uld have 25% more income, so you have to start them off at 1.25mil. This leaves them with a finishing total of exactly 1mil. Tauri will probably balance this out with extra income from attacks, so I cannot see what you are complaining about

I have tried the calculations, you are wrong :-D

These are the exact tactics I resorted too in quantum. They work fine, I have barely been attacked more and I have over 45 bank turns spare atm.

*Sigh* Tauri DONT economise for through weapons than Goauld through the bank. GOAULD LOSE 0%, TAURI LOSE 11%. The only difference is when using weapons to bank, which is totally different. Also in your calculations you started the players with the same amount of naq. Do the goauld not earn more naq? This is a rhetorical question to which the answer is YES, so you havent taken all the race advantages into account. Does this make sense to other people, or am I in a world of my own here?

Tauri and asgard don't economise more, unless they only use their bonus category. Goa'uld economise anytime.

well that depends......i taket a echuel situation because i didnt say were the naq came from...u suposed its from naq income....but lets supose its from a attack.....goauld have way weker attack and they get way larger repair bils....so the 25 % bonus echuels there ...GOT IT??

i touck all things echuel...and turned up unechuel.......and above this...the return price of the weapons shoud be lowerd for tauri asgard because of one reason...and that is that in the game description it states clear that the return value is for "the amount you paid for them originally." darefor there is no other way..........we start echuel we did the same proceses and tured up unachuel......clear as that....we start echuel we must finish echuel....

and im still waiting for the response on the removal of bank limits...they are inutil.....and there is no reason for them to exist.....so they shoud be removed if there is no reason for them to exist....

While we're at it, let's lose the bank entirely, cause there is no reason for it to exist. We've all seen how easily we can store naq in weapons eh?
:wink:

The bonuses equal out... yes Goul'd gets 25% more income... but the Tauri gets 25% more attack and Asguard gets 25% more defense... the value is shown in the over all stats... Thats the benifits of each race... the fact that the Tauri and Asguard gets 88% income back for selling a gun now have a clear cut advantage over the Goul'd... 25% attack/defense as well as the increase in bank size due to the 25% income increase that makes Goul'd advantage worth something...

lets not forget to mention what was stated above... everyone is forgeting about the cost of spys to defense/attack troops.... Asguard and Tauri still get a deduction in price and Replicator has to pay full 3500 value just like everyone else...

Indeed. But if it were lowered, sabotaging people would become cheaper for the reps. And it already is, cause they already have the 25% bonus, and the huge savings on the big spy levels.

First off how many times have u bot a spy lvl? most peps are at 13. so most reps only used there bounes 13 times. how many times have u bot a wepon? what i am trying to get at is reps don't get to use there bounes that much and every one else does (unless they sab allot of peps and kill there inume from buying spys. witch is a bad idea)

Second u guys are getting way off topic. the simple fact that THE RULES stat that you get 80% back for a full wepon and asgurd/turrie don't get 80% back. Simple as that
I am dyslexic and i did do spell check. sarry for the type-o's

Where does it say you get 80% back? I had a quick read through and couldn't find it in the game rules.

Yes we probably buy more weapons than spy levels. Do we save multi-million figures per weapon though?

J.G.G. has a very good point here, the spy levels get extremely expensive and a simple 10% decrease saves replicators millions.

Also, the gou'ald have equal bonuses with the rest. Don't forget that when tau'ri sell their weapons for money, they lose lots of attack power, therefore greatly reducing their attack income and also causing them to lose lots of positions in the ranks.
