mothership rankings deffense/offense
is it possible to have the mothership rankings broken down into ffense and def ranks without causing the mothership to have too big of an effect on the overal rank?

What would be the point of splitting the rankings into attack and defence?
Unless - you mean to use the separate mothership attack/defence powers to be added to overall strike and defence?? If so, motherships don't really work that way.

*takes the time to point out the motherships ranking layout.*
MotherShip Action 200,000,000
(50,000,000 + 150,000,000) Ranked: 2,000
(numbers are basic non-realistic numbers chosen for simplicities sake)
the first number in parentheses, is your motherships attack, and the second number is your motherships defence.
if you want to know what each one is ranked independantly of your mothership... WHY? whats the point?
this idea just doesn't make sense to me...

why have it show rank at all, why not just have it list everyone alphibetically?
Its more for bragging rights then anything else, and its nice to know... Besides say you have a ship with like 1bil def, and 1mil attack, it would be cool to brag that your ship is num 1 in def or something like that, and not just num 1 overall

The benefit of having ranking for each att and def is that you can see how many people have better defence/attack and so you can use that info to increase the chance of successful attacks.
The same happens with normal Att/Def
Lets say you have 3 bill Att and you are rank 20 then, you know that if you have 3 billion defence there are only 19 people in the whole game who can attack you.
It isnt alot of info but some people thrive on increasing the odds in their favour 1% at a time
