Attacking not working

When ever I try and attack someone I get this error message

When i get back to the game it says that i attacked the person but i get no naq. from them (even tho my attack is high enough) and my weapons are damaged.

I get that too, but some attacks got through...
With some people i just dont gain naq though, this is troublesome

i get that message but all my attacks suckseed but have to either hit back twice or use a seperate tab

This is pretty abysmal really. I'm having the same problem and have had it since ppt ended (and presumably before but of course there was no way of knowing without ending my ppt). I'm attacking way above the defences of my targets and yet stealing nothing. I'm getting the div by zero issues, wasting attack turns, getting weapons damaged and i had absolutely no chance to win anything when ppt ended. This is not a global bug as people have clearly been boasting about how much was won during the farming period and i'm being stolen from if i'm more than 2 seconds late signing in on the hour.

So, how will this imbalance be redressed? Speaking purely from perhaps the greatest knowledge of experience in all this game's history i fully expect that nothing will be done. I guess we'll see. The QuantumVerse, as they say, is watching.

your Logs can be access with Attack logs.

SO it's not a real problem.

Attack + Defence to get through. Right, thank you, that answers a question although i must say that your entirely rude way of answering said question reminds me of exactly why i can't abide by the general consensus of this community.

far be it for me to not redress my own self when illuminated by reason. I apologise for suggesting that there was a dire problem with the gameplay and restate my concerns about the missing attack log re-direct. A big problem now seems almost trivial.

Some people never change. How much effort has it taken you to remian this rude and insensitive for over 2 years Kikaz? I guess, pretty much like the last time i pointed you out as being rude and unhelpful you'll take it out on me in game again? Oh well. It must be marvelous to be so very predictable.

Going to the 'attack' screen will give you available targets from whom you can get naquadah - the more you see out the better. You can then either spy on them, to see what defence they have and if your attack is higher than their defence, or you can attack with 1 turn to 'test them out' and see if you can win.

I'm a "nubz" (pressumably some derogatory term) for following instructions, am i? Furthermore:

Attack Attacking others is a core part of the game. As such, it is a fairly complex activity - or at least gets more complex as your realm grows. Attacking has 4 main aspects: Your Military Units, Your Mothership, Your Anti Covert Agents, Your Unique Abilities. Initially just military units will be relevent, but as you grow each of the 4 aspects will come into play. The 4 aspects are explained in order, although the statement: If your total strike action is higher than their total defence action, you win - always holds true. Be warned - your displayed stike/defence action is your natural maximum -- depending on the day, you will achieve from 75 percent to 100 percent of this potential. Additionally, the naquadah you gain on winning, is from 60 to 100 percent of 75 percent of their total open naquadah. Being at war with them adds 50% to your total, if both are at war it doubles it. (Be warned though that war is a minimum 24 hour commitment, and if they in turn declare war on you, the damage you suffer will greatly increase if they do so and attack back!).You can see 'calculations' for how strike, defence, mothership, anti covert (again total potentials) action is determined, as well as death rates per unit type.
