How to use the "Go On Vacation!" feature?

After playing the Main StarGateWars/GateWars for around 2-3 years, I've never used the "Go On Vacation!" feature. I am just curious what exactly is the cost of this feature.

What I mean by "cost" is, the minimum time I have to leave my account on vacation before I can log back in, whats the maximum time I could be on vacation, and will I keep everything from G&R Points, Naq, UUs, Trained Unites, ATs and so on.

I think I've read somewhere that I won't be generating anything when I am on vacation, I will be fine with that. I just don't want to lose anything and still can have my account if I left it for a long period of time.

bare minimum is 48 hours. i don't think there's a max, as i've been on since last December or so, and am still vacationed.

Your account is basically just in stasis, it doesn't really matter how long you say you will be on vacation mode, as long as its more than 48hours and as soon as you log on again you will come out of vacation mode. So you can stay on vacation mode forever if you wish.

You will lose nothing when you are on vacation mode, just remember before you go on vacation mode you need 24hours of no ppt or attacks on anyone else.

I don't attack anyone so I don't think thats a problem, PPT is probably another story.

Good to hear that I don't lose anything, and 2 day minimum doesn't really sound that bad, in fact what I was planning I think it will be longer than 48hrs. Thanks

I've got another question about the Vacation feature, does it also apply to the ascended server as well as the main server?

No, you have to vacation ascended separately.
