STI, great player and someone I consider a friend, got to 100 mill when jake and josh sent him all their UU. Of the 3 brothers, STI and Jake got the public aclaim but reborn was the hardest working of them.

JUAN, nice guy to talk to but sadly a cheat. Not just in this game too. He was banned on a couple of other games with, shall we say a more proactive admin. lol

First person to level 23 covert and up of 5k was me of course! I remember Elusive and myself were in that race. Get this, here we two were slogging it out..and JUAN with a base up of 150 and his **Filtered** of officers had a matching final UP. lol

Nebulator, another cheat, this time recognised.

I remember the covert bug (the tokra incident) I was talking to admin at the time and updating my covert too..u know how u used to click as u got naq out of the bank..quick..I realised my covert jumped 2 levels instead of the one, told admin about it. He corrected it but in main I actually lost a level. Admin told me some guys actually clicked to get 130 odd covert levels and were sabbing away. lol

Apophis- Jaxin bought the second most powerful covert account in the game then after mine. That was Iron's account.

TA alliances v OOC, I actually used a similar method in Quantum wave 1 to decimate a couple of guys. Yes then you could wipe out people's untrained too.

Here's something not many people know. I was once an officer to one of my greatest later enemies. S.C. Thor..when I massed Jay6669 and him simultaneously after I first ascended, he lost it on the irc chat lol.

Another little known fact..iron and me helped each other, and iron was at this time in the OOC..not a vocal member, but by far it's most powerful member. I liked the OOC and actually offered to lead a 4th division in it..a non goa'uld division. They didn't like the idea..so eventually Omega was born.

And another little known fact about how Silent Todd became rank 1 for the first 2 months of this game. At the time, people attacked for only a few thousand naq, under 50k if not far less. He was lucky enough to attack one of admin's accounts for over 2.4 million naq..which of course got him rank 1. He was a nice guy, one of the first people to speak to me when I joined this game.

lol @ rek yeah i remember the untrained mercs lol i had like 4 officers way back in the day and did the same thing...they thought i was giving them gold lol.

when it was so hard to nail someones account it required the effort of a few average accounts to take down a good one lol.

I also remember another bug, don't know if it's the one mentionned about raiding implemeting, but does everyone remember the UP/income bug, million UP and trillion income, that was a big mess to say the least.

Oh and I also remember the attacking rank limit same as current raiding one. People dropped defense and started massing the top 100 being ranked below 7k. Then it was withdrawn for obvious abuse lol.

when losing 600 million was like getting your heart ripped out. Happened to me when I switched from tauri to replicator. Never will forget who did it, the account was Egypt.

I thought I was awesome back when I had a 300 million strike. Top 500 right there.

when certain individuals cheated adn created the "caspain" account to take down Omega .... then myself Jake Radium RahL and a few others started the tick tock threads fishing for the culprits .. of cource Robe and her delusional self caved first and decided to hit Omega and DDE with here faction buddies LOL .. was a great tactic though they hit while 90 percent of Omega alpha and DDE was asleep they didnt fisnish us off and when we awoke we started taking them out shortly afterwards under pressure from his own members Wolf359 initated the GA pact which turned the Omega/DDE vs faction war to the GA vs Faction war .. was good times DDE eventually joined the GA even though we were against it because of a long term resentment towards the EPA since alot of DDE members were former OoC both both Acronon and EtL convinved me of it ..lol or better yet pointed me to the post that said we had joined ..lol but nothing is funnier than haveing Robe surrender then delte her surrender thread like 3 times in a row and lajh posting his famous post ..."I guess we are **Filtered** after all" lol classic..

When I got my first massing by Webb33/Barundin because one of my alliance members got provoked by him and stood his ground. I had a 300k armysize, barundin had some amount above a few million.

Another UU bug back when the game first started where you can untrain .5 UU and get 1 each time for free..

Both realised that any attack from their own accounts would have turned them into the greatest farms in sgw history.

Perhaps one of the biggest things that sticks in my mind was when a few of the old TA leadership (the guys who basically owned MM then and a few others) exploited the unit training bug. At the time admin had made an update where Asgard got cheaper defence soldiers and Tauri cheaper attack. Because so many ppl had trained up etc etc, he allowed a grace period where people could sort out their accounts. These guys used another account, (I can't remember, but it is in my records somewhere) and literally made billions when attacking for 10 million naq was alot. It really pissed us off. To give u an idea..iron and myself were approaching 1000 up and Jake/Fox/Josh etc were close. By the time we also had about the highest covert levels. These guys in a few hours jumped from their 400 odd up and 2-3 spy levels each. When no one in the TA publicly denounced them, it is perhaps the major reason for Omega's 'enmity' with the alliance. You'll laugh at how I decided to punish the culprits.

didn't u know that? jay6669, sc thor, brothercrit and I believe sc ben and one other person all sent their stuff to the Metal Messiah account. Whether their own accounts were deleted or not after that I don't know. But then the MM account was used for 'profit making'.
