Well the title says give uu to a good cause..... no-one knows what exactly the good cause is anyway, as far as anyone here knows is he missed his PPT which is what happens to people everyday.
sure i expected them, it's just people seem to feel attacked or as though i want to steal peoples UU for some reason. I mean I shouldn't be surprised since all charity advertisements attempt to make you feel guilty so that you donate but this isn't like that. No grudges either way. This is just an opportunity for people who have a generous character in this game to help if they Want to.
Edit: ok fair enough title may not be appropriate, will change that.

Mordack wrote:Personally, I am not a huge fan of life. I am of the general opinion that, from start to finish, it's painful and miserable; and that anybody that tells you differently is either trying to have sex with you or sell or you something.
Similarly, I believe that people in general are inherently flawed. Deep down, we are programmed to hurt one another; either physically or emotionally. People are naturally selfish and greedy; governed more by bestial urges than common sense or ethics. Society is a terrible thing, too. The more supposedly civilized we become, the more immorality and decadence become the main staple of our daily diet.
Before Lost concluded, my main flippant excuse for not killing myself was that I wanted to know how it ended. I will get back to you with a new one when I find it.

Why do you feel the need to insult us while making your .. statement? Interesting.
Is that not an insult right there? do you consider the words of COmmander Vimes to be any worse than those of our "Admin"? who is setting a great example.

Why is it so much an issue anyway that they made this thread? Not like they said give your uu or <insert to-feel-guilty comment/threat if not helping him>. If you want to help you can, if you don't/can't you aren't obliged to. That's what freedom of choice is made for!

Its sad that he lost his UU ill give him that but its also stupid to miss your ppt while u know you have so much uu out in the open. Heck even as miners they would have been of more use. All i can say is that it is his own fault and if u give back the uu you worked for just cause hes throwing a hissy fit then i support mordacks statement cause yeah then ur idiots

A lot of people may have over looked that particular post. I know I saw it and didn't have time to read the whole thing, then later on i forgot about it.
Might have been prudent to have linked to that particular post in the opening thread.
Well personally I do think that the only ones really that should feel bad about this are those that participated in taking his defence down and those that raided him. But the guilt is also on El Magnifico. If anything you guys shouldn't be asking others to return El units YOU stole from him. For all I know it could be a fraud to get more units...
HOWEVER I know Grizz from looong time ago, he taught me a lot of things in Quantum (if it's the same guy) and I know he wouldn't do lie about this for his purpuse. I also remember El Magnifico from waaay back, when I started playing the game. He had one of the strongest accounts and it would be a shame for a player of his calibre to leave. Even though it is El's fault that he didn't train units (sure diseases always struck at the most sucky moments, hope you're feeling better btw), I still belive that it would be a shame for him to stop playing..Therefor I will send some units. Like I said, it would be a shame for a player of such calibre to leave..
Of course from everyone that raided him and is feeling guilty about it, giving El 1/3 of what u stole back isn't much for u, it's still the biggest raid in the history..but if you give him 1/3 back and a few of us throw in a couple of million, I'm sure he'll climb the rest of the way back up himself..
Just my two cents anyways..
