Is there a way to take out an oppents attack capibility? Can you attack their offence directly or covertly? I have not seen any but I will be the first to admit that I don't understand completely.
And number 2
Will there be an increase in the number of Races with Stargate Atlantis and the new SGU cming up. ie a wraith path. Or would these be copywrite issues?
thank you

we don't have races anymore =/ be what you want to be?
and you can sabatage attack weapons directly, but not the supers
and build an anti covert and attack a player if you want to destroy their covert!
hit me up on msn if you have any more questions: markfq@hotmail.com

Re: A couple of general questions
Just remember that when building Anti Covert to kill the spies on a player that it's adviseable, but not essential, to reduce the defence to 0 first.
Or you could end up losing more than you gain.

Initial masser on Field Marshal's 120t defence and on Rodwolf's 177t defence.
The forces of Rodwolf fought back with all they could, and managed to inflict 178,947,245,996,720 damage on Tekki's forces!

A sentiment I can agree with, except some of them have never done a good job. Re: A couple of general questions
Q. was how to remove an opponents ability to attack,
The answer is to phase them. Basically an opponent can only be hit so many times, before he "phases out of existence" this is a defensive measure to stop continued attacks and the number of attacks needed phase becomes lower as they put on critical and nox.
Now while it is a defensive measure, it also has uses to an aggressor, when under "Phase" you cant attack anybody, nor do you gain UU/NAQ on the turn.
Their is 2 ways to take off a phase on yourself, 1 is to simply let it turn off at the turn, and then slowly the number of attacks needed to phase you will increase till you reach a certain point. This would be 0 on the phase scale.
But if you want to unphase yourself to the 0 point instantly all you need do is change your critical setting.
So if you Phase your enemy and then proceed to re-phase them with 3 attacks each turn is what it takes to re-phase, or attack them back to phase again if they change crit setting they wont be able to attack you.
...
As the other players said, you can also sabotage attack weapons making their attacks against you less powerful and hurtfull, kill their covert so they cant see or sab you, kill their defences so you can kill their covert and farm them.

If you have a bigger anti level than their covert level and then only enough Antis to just match their covert power you will loose less Anti's than they loose Covert. Which I find a nice strategy to Anti somebody who thinks they are protected being online and having a defence.
