Unit production

I've read that if you're your own commander, you get a unit production bonus of 20%. Does this mean it'll cost 20% less to upgrade, or does it mean that if you have a daily unit prodution of a 100, that you'll actually get 120 units?

if u are a commander and if u have a commander(that is not u) then u get no bonus from your unit production....

u get 20% more unit production if u have yourself for a commander...and if u are a commander u get a % of units depending on the unit production of your officers(this % is dependet on the % of your income that gowes to the officers)....

Having a commander and having officers are 2 different things. Having a commander and having officers are not mutually exclusive, nor are the effects.

Having a commander:
-None : 10% income bonus & 10% bonus to unit growth
-Yourself : 20% bonus to unit growth
-Someone else : An equal share of whatever percentage the commander gives to his officers

Having officers:
-Set a percentage to share with your officers. Each officer gets an equal part of it.
-In return, you get about half that percentage of the total sum of your officers unit growth.

i give 30% to my officers so what is the percentage i would get from there unit production
