im about to ascend

ok guys im about to ascend once my co comes online on msn to get my stuff now im thinking about being a tolah cus i heard that they have high strike and defence so is there anythink else i should know about before i ascend?

and do you get the red writing below your game name when you ascend?

also i have 10mil army but im thinking about getting 16mil what do you think?

The bonus to ascended races (tolah, ori,etc..) are so minimal that you migh aswell just pick the one that sounds best to you.

You get the 'prior' title when you ascend for the first time

Once you get here convert your ascention power points to Life force on the cosmic trade page and buy a truckload of charisma levels on the power up page.

You can't farm anyone on the 1st day due to the size restrictions so convert your turns to dark matter units and buy as many fleets as you can. You may not be able to farm anyone on day 2 either so convert your life force to DMU and buy more fleets. From then on keep your rank down, your turn generation high and farm whatever you can.

yes i like it very much i think it an ion cannon im not sure but i can tell you this iv doubled in power ie defence and ms but still confusing in ascended wars so

thanks that is a big help and is it wise to attack someone at this point in case they decend you?

2) Anyone with a rank worse than 1600 is likely to be inactive, unless they are starting out like you. But given that I've see inactives ranked about 220, you never know where the juicy farms may lie.
3) Don't let your turns hit 2000, you can't hold any more than that.

Turn generation works by rank, 1-800 get 3, 800-1600? get 5, after that you can get 8 and 13 for the really low ranks (Looks like Admin is a Fibonacci fan)

I wonder what level of maths Forum got to at uni. He seems quite keen on it given that the ascended server power ups and power levels are built on squares for income, cubes for charisma, and asymtotes for personal stats.

The thought just occured to me what the server would be like without the charisma power up. I honestly think it would be much better, if it weren't to late to change.....

Most of that is true. But it is not possible for an inactive to be ranked in the top 1k for very long. The defense goes away and they will be ranked sub 1k. Unless they have no enemies and no income Which means they aren't a good farm for you anyways.

ok so the guys around 220 have a little defense (under 10Q). But a little further along you can get rank 500 with no defense.

It's getting ridiculous on main. I saw an inactive (4997 turns, low army, low id, 500k+uu) ranked 1900 yesterday. Good thing the G/R ranks were moved from 1800, it borders on embarrassing.

I suppose we were both exaggerating a bit first time around. Because it is true that I have to have three stats near zero to stay at my normal rank.
