Similarly, I believe that people in general are inherently flawed. Deep down, we are programmed to hurt one another; either physically or emotionally. People are naturally selfish and greedy; governed more by bestial urges than common sense or ethics. Society is a terrible thing, too. The more supposedly civilized we become, the more immorality and decadence become the main staple of our daily diet.

Can you explain how it's played more? Rather vague description in the first post, I get that it's like Risk but... MOAR EXPLAINING.

More explanation you mean
okay there is a map.
each group or team or whatever gets a spot on the map.
i guess you could say you can only war or battle those who share a border with yourself.
each space has a bonus type.
like 2/3 would be an idea. like the person that owns the area has 3 fighters for every 2 fighters that is on the opposing side. kind of like home field advantage as you will.
other spaces are like planet wars etc.
others could be min requirements. like min of 300bil defense at all times. once destroyed you have 6 hrs to rebuild it or your out for the rest of the conflict.
etc etc etc.
you need anything else.
i am very good with ideas if you need any semper.

Re: The Grand Campaign.
I see some of FS posted here, when I first approached Easy he said no without asking for further details, good luck with that, I had hoped you guys might have been up for it.
My original idea would have been to include teams, for example, 5-6 guys of DDE might want in but the rest don't then those 5-6 can join in, rules created accordingly.
We Warlords would most likely still be interested in this plan Semper, I was about to restart the line of inquiry but you got there first.

well it would make the wars faster which would mean they would end quicker.
if it was 5 vs 5. you had a 6hr time to rebuild. that way if you can keep them below 300bil defense for more than 6hrs then they are out of the contest for that battle. when all of your team is out in the battle the war is over. simple enough.
or how about spots where you have a min 150bil defense max 300bil defense and you can only have 200bil offense.
or ones where your ms's have to be out looking for planets. ms less battles.
