Personally my favourite was DV (Darksvengeance)... lead by Wraith65, 360 players at least, looking back on it now, it amuses me much a lot

Favourite Memories...
Perhaps a thread for the older players of the game... what your favourite memory of SGW was? during the times when you may have asked a good friend to help buy you and MS as the price for it was huge!, back when you raided bout 5k from a player with 30k out, pre-planets, pre-assasins, pre-miners, past players whom have quit, when reaching your first million UU you had felt youd achieved something special

Re: Favourite Memories...
Not long after the Warlords were made a part of EPAC we were asked to help the Hive go to war with Alpha....WE were under no illusions about winning this war, hell some of them we couldn't even dent... Still agree we did and war came and we got to it.... kinda.....
I remember we didn't have long before we had to go out on a meet up with a guy I had been at school with so my first strike was small. Anyway, at that time 3 of my High Council had not long moved over to Alpha, Kurnous, TheRook and Zilog.
Anyway, we started the fight then had to go out, it was seeing rookies grin as he came into the pub got a pint and came over to where El Gringo and Death by Hat were sitting.... he obviously wanted to know what the hell we were thinking. After all, as much as they were mates I couldn't tell Kurnous or Rookie what we had been asked to and agreed to do, since after all if they don't know they couldn't have told Alpha and so weren't derelict in duty. Otherwise, a very fun war with Alpha, good folk and many msn convos with their members while er.... trying to fight... For them though I think it was like trying to fight a midget while not laughing, still I think we got them laughing anyway.

Re: Favourite Memories...
My first massing...a bloke was farming a nooby officer of mine....so i massed his 100bil def...it destroyed him he was so ticked off and had the thought in his head that he could never rebuild so he quit the game :s (was not my goal tho).
raiding and praying to get 2k UU from a 15turn hit lol....back when turns were 15-20bil per k *sign*
Back in my first alliance it was just made up of school mates and our leaders brother's alliance was at war with another alliance...to show our good faith we boosted our leaders strike up and stocked him with turns and sent him off to fight with his brothers alliance (this was back when i was a nooby lol).
Reaching 10mil army and ascending for the first time....even tho my commander highly suggested i wait till 25mil army so it was easier to rebuild....that screw up took me ages to recover from lol.
so many memoried
the good old days.

Re: Favourite Memories...
starting the game playing with my two best high school friends. they both quit, but i have made many friends now even after 4 years of playing. first war of crystal force versus i think CoP? i dont remember. i ascended the first time with the help of no one. i lost almost everything and put the game on hold for 6months. coming back i still find CC playing after CF disbanded and she gets me to join her. joining with kalkin in an alliance. my own alliance. then through all the BS of the AO dieing.
now the present and future favorite memories are hitting 200mil army size recently, raiding successfully over 400mil UU. and creating/renaming/whatever you want to call it a new alliance out of the AN.
having fun now.

As far as I remember I think only EPA and 359 were in GA not all of EPAC, it was as EPAC formed that GA turned into CoP with DDE, DD & of course OE, which at the time was Omega and Alpha, not sure on OSL back then.

Easy massing me when I was a newb in TÅTS.
Then the whole of TÅ came on MSN and yelled at him until I got my UU back.
Then they yelled at me because I accepted the UU back and they didn't get to go to war.
