NO one has anything against a bit of roleplaying in the GC. If they want to roleplay there, then non roleplaying, connected to the topic at hand, non forum rules breaking posts should be allowed as well.

If someone wants an entirely role playing threads limited to a certain setting/environment, then they should use the roleplaying section.

why? whats the point? there is an RP thread in GC, for RP only....

and in general there is a thread for pretty much everything else, why can that not be deemed acceptable for this war? you don't want to RP post in the other thread

and no, battle logs should be posted whereever appropriate, if its being worked into RP, then let it go in the RP thread in GC, if it is being posted by itself, the post it in the DISCUSSION thread....

when it comes down to it, the threads are 2 halves of the same whole, one with the RP of a war, and the other with the dribble, all we have done is seperate it

But we aren't allowed to post battle logs because that shows the defence? Or am I wrong? And my post was not aimed to derail the thread, I like roleplaying as much as the next person but as I do not know the terminator storyline I had no idea what was going on. I know I could've made it a little more clear by saying who attacked me and so on but I didn't know that was a part of roleplaying. My post clearly states that TTF attacked me and lost. I mean how hard is it to derive that from the post?

i have to agree with deni here, the GC can't just be limited to Roleplay, its for all the war threads and the such, i'd say most of the GC threads have little RP in it?

RP may be fun for some people, but some people don't want to RP or simply don't have the time and i don't think they should be told to roleplay in a thread they are directly involved in but isn't RP based?
