I can think of a few worse. But I can also think of lots better. It's been a while since they made a wave that worked how it's suppose to. I just don't think they can make a wave work with only a few days preperation. I'm beginning to wonder if they will bother putting the effort in that Q deserves. Hopefully with people spending $$ more attention will be payed to Q.

i hope admin do some thing good for next era as i like the 3month consept of playing but this wave is just pants, wepons counting as uu in army size way to manny turns due to the 5 turns per attack people selling naq left right and centrer the thing that anoys me the most is the lack of people playing as my acount is statless but im ranked Rank: 122 thus there cant be more than 122 people playing and if there is they are realy crap

New era would be nice to not have gambling lol, things got crazy there, and not having ME ranked with other stats. Having no Mother ship is kinda intersting, maybe bring it back and forth every other wave.

I think weps counting as army size is great...that way at the end if you don't have good covert you have no idea what the other guy is going to do to jack his covert/AC. I guess all the guys on page 1 with no UP aren't going to be around to see page one at the end. Well they'll be around....just on page 2.

This has been a very relaxing wave...not to much pressure like the first few waves I played. Think next wave should go back old school.

I believe the only way we will start getting good Quantum Eras is by allowing the Admins several weeks in between Q Eras to do the work and allow for some brief Beta testing before unleashing it on us other fools...

As long as we demand short turn-around, immediate new Era, and as soon as 15-24 hours have transpired since the last Q Era ends before we start lining up the Q Forums with whine after whine about "When is the new Era gonna start???" we will keep getting the Q wave we deserve, and fast turnaround slippery turd munch...

Soes, I say lets decide to allow a minimum number of days automatic between Eras before a new Era starts. I say at least one week, maybe more?? Thoughts?

I know I am one of the whiners, but, I whine about everything, even when I tee-tee my Depends from glugging too much Geritol. If this old man can be patient to allow time for new Q Era to be setup and coded properly, can others be patient as well??

Only way I can see to get Quality Q Era, its the "Service Triangle" concept:
We all want things Fast, Cheap, and High Quality.
but, you can't have all three.
1. You can get something FAST and High Quality, but not Cheap...
2. You can get a High Quality product Cheap, but, it will take lots of Time!
3. Or, you can have a FAST AND CHEAP Q Era, but it will be

What about the 3 months they have to work on it while the era is running...

We've had the beta testing before. Admin always sets thongs up on the beta server 1st, just need to get hold of him (easier said than done) and he'll give the login code.
But there are things that a few days of beta will miss.
Q needs someone willing to work on it while it's running. When you have new code every 3months.. Stuff is going to go wrong.. That's fine, we can accept that... But it also needs some1 to sort it out, which has been severly lacking.

On your point; fast, cheap and quality.
Look at it from the other way.
1. Make something fast, that is quality, and get paid lots.
2. Make something slow, that is quality, and get paid less.
3. Make something fast, that isn't quality, and get paid less
4. Make something slow, that isn't quality, and get paid nothing.

I'd say we are at 3. It's in every1s interests to get to 1.
Some people are willing to pay for this level of quality, more would be willing if it was better (and there is massive room for improvement)

Also, if you manged to have a few good waves in a row, the oldies might come back, word would spread to new players so there would be new blood, and even the ppl that have hung on and kept playing through the dodgy waves but stopped forking out $$, maybe start spending again.

I don't see why admin considers Q such a waste of time...there must be reasonably good money in it!
