Why did I join THE DARK DOMINIUM?

An unfortunate fact of the game, and perhaps life in general, is that there are some people who will automatically label you due to certain facts about you. There are people in this game who hate FUALL with such a passion that they will automatically dislike you regardless of whether you've even spoken. When I joined Omega, I drifted apart from at least three people whom I'd considered friends simply because of the tag next to my name. Dogmatic assumption, for the win.

Anyone that's changed their view of me since i made my decision clearly didn't respect me in the first place or think i was a friend.

@Mezz, how have i changed as a person? Or is it the tag that is the issue?

You haven't got the fun part yet. As both a member of the forum staff and a FUALL member simultaneously be prepared for the assumption that everything which you do is biased and part of an evil masterplan to take over the forums and establish a corrupt regime of terror.

i think the respected part you lost, is that you posted this thread, i don't care where you reside. If posting about the biggest raid in the game so far is less worthy than your decision to join TDD. Then i guess we disagree.
What i did was an achievement by all accords, what you did is what happens all the time, people join alliances. woop de freaken do.
So yes i lost respect for you when you posted this, and i don't care if you care either, its my opinion.

TDD is an interesting alliance, who i do in fact have respect for in some regards.

Mordack has a good point. The funny thing is that you agree with it whilst at the same time doing exactly what he said other people do to you. Using one thing against them. You associated that one topic about Rocky's raid with him and nothing else when he commented on this thread, which was quite shallow.

On topic: sure, you should not have to justify why you joined DDE but you cannot stop people from thinking what they are, and I agree they might not be justified accusations but as Mordack said, you cannot prevent that, even if you tried.

I do not know clarkey and I hope I do know him better as a character and definatley as a person behind the keys of a laptop. Sad to see some posts in here of respected players I admire. I still do not think less of them to say everyone has an opinion. Hell Im sure there are a few that hate my guts. I could care less.

All alliances are for is to meet new people who have the same play style you adhere to. Why be simple minded and stop haveing reletions past your screen?. Anyways im always glad to meet some new faces in or out of the alliance Im in.

Probably not. I left Omega months ago, and under negative circumstances. Despite the fact that significant portion of FUALL consider me a traitor and think my name is mud, there's still a frankly hilarious amount of players who still believe that I'm acting in their interest. That my departure was an elaborate ruse to help FUALL take over the forums, and that I'll be spying for ETL in whatever allance I go to next. In some people's eyes, you'll be forever associated with them.

@ Universe, not blowing up over anything, Clarkey started this thread because so many asked him 'why' and he felt a need to explain or justify his discussion. If he didnt care what people thought, want questions asked and answered, why start the thread ?
