i've searched all over the net and the help thingy in windows 7 and now i'm getting seriously pissed off!
i want to turn off "AUTO-ARRANGE" in files and folders so i can arrange the contents off my folders in any order i like. this feature was in in XP and vista and was easily turned on and off, unless i'm missing something, they hid it or i'm going blind, i cant see it anywhere...
help please.
need some help with windows 7.

There are a few features they removed. I would also suggest dualbooting Win7 and WinXP.
i've had a dualboot for the past year. but thanks anyways.
