Ability to buy 'night PPTs'...

Since the lame thing is, most people are that cowardly to take down bigger defenses while the owner is asleep, and don't dare to challenge them while the owner is awake...

A 'night PPT'... set certain gametimes for 4 nights in a row, for 12 hours each...
Safe while you sleep, unsafe during the other 12 hours... but gives you a chance to at least react...

How does it sound?

I like it, but most of everyone else won't, saying something along the lines of "well, just start a normal ppt at night, and cancel in the morning"

A similar sorta thing was suggested by someone (in a round about way) were you take a % of your income (like realm alert) and this would be used to auto-repair your weapons whilst offline. Since it would be what you would do (most likely) if you were actually online, and not just watch your defense disappear

From the market most likely. Though i don't know how you'd split it up. But i think it's along the lines of dictating when the PPT is applied, instead of it just being 48hrs straight?

lol, if u change ppt time endurance then u gotta waste merlins at will.

i always tho its best to have a 2 or 3 days long ppt and 2 shorts of 12 hrs (tactical)

Also, about autorepair... that's different... autorepair means you're barely risking anything unless you're out of naq... while night PPTs (which take up regular PPT spots) cost the regular amount but leave you exposed during 'daylight'... also, since it's a PPT-spot, you can't have both night PPT and regular PPT active
@ Lithium... risking Merlins is the decision... you don't need to, but then you risk more during the day. Or you can still use regular PPTs but leave yourself exposed minimal 3 days and 3 nights.

I believe it's called Nox

If any of this is to be implemented, nox needs to be removed. As massing someone's def is already hard if they are online, when they have nox - it is impossible.

Its not impossible, people just aren't willing to build a strike 2x+ the persons defense

Why don't we try that out? As long as the defender is online for the entire duration of battle and has enough naq in the bank, the defender's weapons will not be damaged.

ie instead of 2days ppt you get 48hrs, which you can use anyway you want..

Its 6 without Nox anyway... Nox just means you get phased after a certain number...
And if you don't have more resources then the defender does (considering once you have a higher attack, the defender starts taking like 200% more losses) then why should you be able to break through? If we had a RL war, you had $100 to fight with, and i had say $1B, don't you think i should win, simple because i have the resources to fund my war effort more easily then you?

Currently, if I had 1q naq, and you had 1tril naq with, say a 10bil def, you would still 'win'. Because massing a def when they have nox is impossible anyway.

And nox adds a 7s delay. And I'm sure it's 7s.
