plats go bigger then 500bill tho?

After 500k planet defenses, the price for defenses skyrockets to 180m/1 defense... so it doubles from the MB size price of 90m/1 defense.
Platform prices increase in 30m increments, so it would make sense to increase your platforms to 500k before before trying to add another
100k planet defenses... and yes, platforms do go higher than 500k. ;)

Pimping D wrote:but think. your planet would be massed for the lulz. and getting a planet to 500k is expensive. you would need to buy naq. and if your buying naq you might aswell buy merlins

Actually very few people have enough fleets to take down a 3T total defense. Most of the lulz go to the person with the defended planet... watching people lose 3-4T naq everytime their fleets go splatter. It takes 270k fleets to even touch a 3T defense.

goldy wrote:but like i said with 3t raw and big plats (3t also) that would be very very hard to take down! even for the lulz lol
8t rbuild everytime!!

600k fleets cost 13.3T naq, so yes... it would be very costly for the attacker to get splattered. Not to mention the cost for repairing those fleets each hit.

Amount of Naquadah required to reach 500,000 from 10,000 is 174,866,994,225,000.
Your Unit Production planet would increase for 257,895 facilities.

But to make it worth having you would need a 1mill raw UP, which does cost a lot...

With the planet "feature", you don't need 1m raw UP to take advantage of a 500k UP planet. If you grab a crap planet, you'd only need 500k raw UP. Grab two crap planets, 333k raw UP to get the full benefit of that 500k UP planet. What's not mentioned in the updates is that the actual planet bonuses are "distributed" to the other similar planets you own.

Re: Planet defences

What max said :).

As for "untakeable" as saverok said thats impossible, if someone wanted to put enough naqudah into taking it with the way PDP's work they can. The only thing they cant "suicide planet take" is Raw Defences, but 1.5 tril is the most defence anyone will put on it. This is 500k defences and costs based on cheapest building, cant be bothered to work it out right now but its roughly 35 tril. Not that much, but a lot of players have the fleets to beat this, and all PDP's can be 0'd with enough naqudah spent, without increasing fleet size so at only 500 RAW defences nothing is "untakeable"

To build the planet further... (btw you'd need to be reaching 5 Tril RAW before your truely untakeable till COUGH further improves their MS :P)
Every 100k after 500k the price doubles.

500-600k = 180 mil (18 tril)
600-700k = 360 mil (36 tril)
700-800k = 720 mil (72 tril)
800-900k = 1480 mil (148 tril)
900-1000k = 2960 mil (296 tril)

As you can see the price rapidly becomes insane.

To get 1 mil RAW defences, only 3T power, not nearly "untakeable" it will cost you.

570,000,000,000,000 naqudah.

To become "untakeable" from RAW defences against the current highest fleet.

itll cost.

1-1.1 mil = 5920 mil (592 tril)
1.1-1.2 mil = 11840 mil (1.184 quad tril)
1.2-1.3 mil = 23680 mil (2.368 quad tril)
1.3-1.4 mil = 47360 mil (4.736 quad tril)
1.4-1.5 mil = 94720 mil (9.472 quad tril)
1.5-1.6 mil = 189440 mil (18.944 quad tril)
1.6-1.7 mil = 378880 mil (37.888 quad tril)

Total cost from 1 mil defences @ 3T power to 1.7 mil @5.1 T
Is.

75,184,000,000,000,000 Naqudah.

A small sum of naqudah :).

Suffice to say, no one is ever going to build an "untakeable" planet, and even if some millionaire spent all of his money and depleted every account in the game of naqudah for a year to build it, the fleet to take it would be ridicliously cheap in comparisson. It is however quite cheap in comparrison to build 5T total power on a planet with 3 PDP's, which will mean the highest fleet in the game can only take you if it suicide masses you PDP's. Which will be very expensive for you both.

So can you make an "untakeable" planet, no. You can however build hard to take planets. Other than that you can always pay $ to hide them.

......

The realistic maximum defences that can be built is 500k for those with PDP's still under 500k, then Planet defence can be increased to 600k without too much discomfort, but before you want to go to 700k, you would first need to put all PDP's over 1 mil defences, which will be quite expensive. Not something many would need or could build.

So the maximum planet defences out their you should and would ever see, is 500k, and 600k for the richer players.

Although technically you could build up to 1 mil raw defences, 500 tril naqudah isnt "that much" it is achieveable. The problem lies that it is far from "untakeable" It would take much less naqudah to build the 300k fleets required to "not pilot suicide" against your defences and at this point you would take damage from every hit. And if someone wants to mass this planet off you. 500 tril naq in lost defences WILL HURT.
So it begs reason that no one will ever build past 500 or 600k Unless they simply have no care for their naqudah, as they will never reach untakeable through building defences.
12agnar0k be taking over this here account, argh!

Re: Planet defences
