is there no way to cancel mpdsd?? in the show they showed anyone out of phase could still see what was happening to people still in it, so when the president (me) says come out of phase!, they should come out of it now instead of 24/48/72 etc hours after first activating it....

It would be a good idea. Store "hours" instead of full days. However, once it is merlined, you cannot take it out for said 2 hours, and once taken out, it cannot be put back for 2 hours?

I say thats a bad idea. You could put a massive defense on it and if your vidgilant you can merlin it every time it gets attacked, repair and then put it out in the open again. Doing this could triple or quadruple the amount of time a planet "Protected". protected being defined as player active or merlined.

So basically, no Merlin whilst awake/not at work, then merlin whilst sleeping/working. I can see your point here.
And on that note would agree. It is done in full days, but can be canceled early

Well theirs some good and bad points to this type of idea.

Assuming nothing is changed about the Merlin, i.e no abusive "hours" ideas o.0, Just that they can be cancelled (ofcourse sacraficing any Merlin time left on planet, just as when you cancell a PPT)

For,

A) This would make selling planets which have no defences on them and are usually kept safe from enemies via PPT/Merlin, easier to give to a buyer as not only can you end the PPT at a certain time for them to take it, but you can do the same with the Merlin.

B) I can't see anyway of someone being able to abuse this suggestion, as all the time it would have been on for gets sent to the abyss. Basically no body would have any reason to ever cancel a Merlin unless they were doing a).

Against,

A) TBH, I like it the way it is, I see no reason to make selling planets a little easier if their is no other way to protect them other than merlin, I say build and use a PDP to do it like I do, A PDP can still be massed leaving both enemy and yourself happy ish .

B) Basically It is a little pointless.

yup so probably wont come in, but wont matter if it does, will make selling precious planets a bit easier for everyone but me.

I have to agree with the sentiment of *better updates are needed, and fewer tweaks, unless their to fix previous updates*
