This may come as a surprise to many people, but the GC is NOT the place to make individual surrender threads, or to notify war participants of a change in account ownership.

If you want to surrender from a war, or you've bought a new account, then it's your responsibility to individually contact the relevant parties and inform them of what's happened. Whether by posting in the thread, or by hounding them via PM or instant messenger. Finding out the names of the alliances involved and their diplomats or leaders isn't a tremendous challenge.

The Galactic Colosseum is a place for war threads, and not an appropriate venue for people to make such annoucements about themselves. I'm sorry if this is inconvenient or frustrating for some people, but future threads of this nature will be closed immediately and sent to the dump.
