just give a nice linear neutral set of forum titles... You're concerned that forum rank may not accurately represent peoples posting quality. That's just tuff luck and the way the world works for reasonable systems. Some people don't get promoted over others... some people put more time and effort in doing all they can to impress, even if it includes mistakes and nonsense and get the promotions... sometimes the careful sitter backers who only act when it's calculated and exclusive relevant are passed up on because they lack character and fortitude.

I have made a suggestion and im just giving my opinion on semps suggestion as this thread is about opinions on forum titles.

On the military titles i dont think the last ones are very good. It kinda seems like a step down for me going from General to "board member". Im not a massive army fan though so im kinda biased there.

Lol... sorry man called Jim.. I am waiting for these 'exciting' titles.. so far you've given me a list that's pretty much no more exciting than anything I have given.. other than the fact it incorporates more ridiculous titles that are here there and everywhere... forum traveller to space explorer..to fleet builder...to planet explorer and world conqueror back to solar master and then system controller. System controller and solar master? Half of these things would require one or the other as prerequisites before they continue.. yet at the same time.. one cannot forget the brainless abandonment of it being forum related..until of course you equate conquering the known galaxy to being a forum god...

By this reckoning let's have a set of forum ranks.. that go from being ranked as some species of deep sea fish to being ranked as some celestial body and then a forum poster!
Sticking a forum related title at either end and then putting any old chimpanzee poo'ed mound in the middle is just as out there as using a list of ships.

@ Jack. I removed most of the USAF ranks on purpose.. because it's meant to be more light-hearted and focused on SG. Half those ranks never had any relevance in the SG universe and are not necessary. On top of that... where as the primary cast did use USAF ranks we have seen examples of British, Canadian and Russian ranks used so I wanted to make sure most of the ranks used were also incorporated into their armed forces.

I still think either one of the more bland, neutral list's.. or the SG focused USAF ranks will be good, if not them.. then the ascension titles...

I didn't really take it as an offense, but there are more "obvious" examples to use about me. Spamming general section, constant arguing, formerly forum multi-ing...those are more "famous" negative points of mine than the one you listed. Not to mention I still argue and spam general section, while the one you keep refering about me, is former stuff.
