Alpha Leader,, reporting in. We have located the signature energy trail of the Aurora Class Mothership. It currently holds orbit over a barren, desert planet. Weapons and sheilds are at full capacity. Recommended Course of Action HQ.

Having dropped off the scouting Science vessels radar for 24 hours, the news of Byrnes re-emergence on the barren planet of Lotdo came as a suprise to Decimus Tek. Instructing the Wraith Squadron Leader to report back to the Rorsach an immediate course was plot, and further GHOST squads were dispatched to the planets surface to uncover any secrets that Byrnes had been concealing.

Upon Arrival it was clear this was to be Byrnes last stand. A staging point for one last struggle against the Bounty on his head. With the Aurora at max capacity, an entirely depleted Naq Mine had been used to fund the raising of an Ancient Defence network to rival that of Teks Own Homeworld, Terronia. This did not deter tek and his forces, within minutes the 2 forces collided. Joining His troops at ground level he and and his personal Guard Pride Company managed to battle deep into the cavernous network of the Naq Mines, where Byrnes was waiting.

Weilding the 'Nemesis' branded Lightsabre given to all Nemesis Sect, it appeared Byrnes wished to fight his old master in the arts of the sith. His attacks were tenacious, and determined, but utlimately futile. The greater experience of Tek overwhelmed the Raw potential of Byrnes. However when the death blow was to be landed, the determinded nature of the duel and the potential in Byrnes saw Tek let the young Ancient go. Instead, reclaiming the Nemesis Lightsabre as a trophy of his victory to be presented to the Nemesis Leadership, and with it, removal of Byrnes from the Nemesis Foes list.

My Defence is still up as this doesnt officially end until later but im out for the drinking and the partying.
