you cant sab 1 weapon sleepy, not even 2 which will be more than enough to farm inactives.

Only if your a Tauri would that work...
And even then, given a few days 1 weapon wont help you either...
Give it a month, you'd be totally screwed if you got massed and had no naq in the bank, all it would take was a well placed couple of hits/sabbs right after you've made a big purchase of a covert level or some such...

I shudder to think, towards the end of the era, when defence techs are up in the thousands ... (for example 4000)

You'd potentially need to rebuild a 260 million strike JUST to farm inactives...

It would be rather easy with a MS, since they add to your strike and inactive accounts obviously wont have them

you will need a minimum of 3 top tauri weapons to farm inactive, unless you manually buy more strike techs

p.s. weapon power sux. it has fooled me too thats why i didnt tried the top weapons at start.

your basic def would be
8,200,000,000

4,000 * 50,000 = 200,000,000

200,000,000 * "tech % bonus"
( 200,000,000 / 100 ) * 4100 = 8,200,000,000

if you were asgard... that would be 12,300,000,000

300m defence wouldn't be too bad on asgard inactive accounts..

This is why we should think about these things now Armed, so as there is no surprises later in the era when there is no hope of a reset...

Like last era, when we got 1/2 way through then people started working out that they could mass your strike with basically no stats...
I believe me and Neocortex were the first ones to find out about that bug, and not by choice, we were both on the recieving end...

Well Admin has accepted the failures of the last 2 Eras, and intends to put it right.. Hopefully that will involve fixing these things now, then restarting the wave when everything is working... But.. we shall see in the next day or so

Again, Affy does his math (using Chisenbop... heh-heh 'Old Skool' style) and still finds his 'weaponry' too short...

Yes, I have two officers right now with PPT end times that are 10 hours apart, mine is 8 hours apart from the earliest officer...

Ive gotten word from another player (I personally know) whose PPT end time is 16 hours separated from my earliest Officer's PPT end time.

That equates to at LEAST 20-30 turns of Farm Festing, covering almost a whole days time.
(More like Farm Fest watching for those that will NOT have the Attack to Defeat any of the Inactives natural Defense.)
