Tradeble MPDSD
People now just buy SS and have 5+ duals with amazing stats on them,i think all of us should benefit from that, therefor i think MPDSD should be tradeble and/or pretty expensive,like ~250 bil per 3 days...thoughts,ideas?

best thing would be to set a roof on how many can be bought with $$ each week too... making sure that planets cant be entirely unattackable...

Besides it would never be implemented as jason would lose one of his cash cows then, no one would buy The Ultimate Supporter package which they buy for the merlins if they could get them for ingame resources. ~T~

Urgh.. i hope never in this lifetime..
Players atm that don't want to spend obsene amounts of $$ are limited in planets they can protect on their accounts. While it might seem fair to open up 24/7 $$free planet protection to everyone,. .it would make the situation ten times worse.
While there might be a limit on how many mpdsd you can buy for naq per week, as soon as you make them tradable, it becomes rather moot.
Whatever amount of naq they might cost, it wouldn't be worth giving a large number of able farmers the ability to keep 10 planets merliend 24/7 without spending a cent.

250b for three days is CHEAP!
Anyone with a decent army is earning close to 2t a day not to mention what they can farm. I'm a pretty slack farmer, and I can earn that much in a day farming or if I was at full army size, I'd earn that much easy. Currently I can keep 1 planet safe at all times wtih 2 PPTs and the other market trade. If that price was implemented, I'm sure you can see how it would be very exploitable for people.

If people are able to gain the resources or spend the money to buy merlins all the time, then good luck to them. But enabling everyone to do it, would just mean they become useless. As soon as duals were by-able off the market, the price for duals went from almost limitless, to about 5T, if they only have mediocre stats.

Quite a few people have lots of duals merlined,with IMMENSE stats!I do not have ANYTHING AGAINST $$ spenders,not one thing,i just want to be able to keep 1,maybe 2 planets merlined without trading my PPT for it and having fear that i will miss either merlin or PPT and loose it...(and without VACing)

But thats the thing, you can as it stands have 1 perma merlined without trading any of your ppt's, if you want 2 your gonna have to save up your merlins before hand or use $ like most other people with planets they don't want stolen and have perma merlined. ~T~

Their is a limit on how many can be brought with $
60 is the maximum from $ a week
9 is the maximum a week from MT.
Plus 10 additional Merlins available every 2 weeks on ascending.
Max you can have a fortnight is, 148 Merlin Days.

So many many ways to gather turns, yet Admin still gets lots of players paying $ direct for turns. So given this example, why would MPSD be any different, If it was tradeable, although im not entirely sure it is a good idea, Say an entire Alliance of peaceful players who have no use for their Merlins as they have no big planets to speak off fund 1 Aggressive player. 30 MT's (10 players) going to Player X a week, = 90 Merlins additional a week to player X will allow him to sustain many Attack planets at virtually no cost.
But if it was introduced I doubt Admin would loose business. Maybe a little, but not a lot.

Eventually, i would guess, is everyone would have 10 Merlin'd planets, and there'd be no use for fleets really.
Rather then making MPDSD transferable, why not make planet defenses more reasonable? That way, rather then spending $$ or trading for Merlins to keep planets, you can actually have them defended
You can already. And it's not hard. Put 500k defenses on a planet, and then 250-300k defense on 3 platforms. Gives the planet 1.25-1.4m planet defenses, good luck breaking that any time soon. And the other planet, just trade all MT's for Merlins and your set
