if I remember correctly, if you get blocked too often you will loose the ability to send PMs for some time.

Actually, I visit this part of the forum frequently and kept seeing the "pms" in the title of the thread and just chuckled to myself because I didn't realize it the first couple of times... and just had to make a comment.
