I may have a possible answer to this mystery as I know DEMI and I know what his account has been through.

His account is a Tollan which would have pre-ascension been Tauri.
Tauri as an unascended race get the "quick retreat" or whatever it is called special bonus right? Meaning they can quickly strike and return uninjured.

I believe you lose this when ascending right?

So when DEMI was at lvl #23 ascension after the new race updates he messed around with the race updates knowing that he would lose his ascension/title thing as a result of it. However the game states that you can easily re-ascend back to your former lvl, i.e. #23.

Which DEMI tried to do. However because the ascensions are 100% capped now at #23 the option for him to ascend i.e. the ascension button, did not appear because it considered him still at cap. Therefore the game bug prevented him from being able to revert back to his #23 ascension. That was a bug.

Therefore Jason fixed that bug to allow him to revert back.

Now what i am thinking here is that in all the 90+ attacks that Qacol carried out on DEMI, DEMI got 0 AB from his account. Now at lvl #23 the AB is large and in my experience i have had AB kick in at least 8 times in a row.

Now looking at the attacks listed above it looks possible that the hits where there are 0 army loses could potentially be the AB kicking in, however, because his account may be bugged, the game may think (bonus wise) that he is not ascended therefore instead of using AB it uses the "quick retreat" bonus that an unascended Tauri gets?

A wacky theory i know, but it's the only logical thing i can come up with knowing what i know from DEMI's account.

Well thought out. Except Qacol was attacking Demi, not Demi attacking him. And the Tauri ability only works when attacking someone else. If he was initially Asgard, this could defiantly be a possibility

I always thought when raiding/farming that I was just unlucky when it came to ascended blessings.
