Duals Too common?

since they became available on the market they are everywhere. they have lost their unique rareness and extreme difficulty to find one and even more so to protect them. now its easy.

It is a rumour almost a myth of a triple stats planet existing in this game. will it ever become abailable you reckon?

I asked Jason along time ago a question about duals ( before his own ingame market for them was there ) the reply i got was

double is a % on market (0.1%? ie 1/1000) and a triple is 1/10th that

So as far as hes concerned triple planets do exist, but of course there chances are slim to none, and for good reason, and id be dam sure if i was getting one, i wouldnt be telling a dam person on this server, and Perma merlin would be the only thing keeping it safe.

Hm, but with the ability to buy duals, that %-statement is no longer valid. At least, it isn't for duals. May still be that 1 in 10.000 planets is a triple.. may also just be a Holy Grail, find it, keep it locked away.

I don't think that anyone who'd have it would come here and say that. It's even so, far more likely that some random newbie finds that triple -given that there are far more random newbies as older and more well-known/loud people.

Though J-R, for covert planets I'd say they have to be at least 400b before they become useful, so on a covert planet I don't see that stat as overkill.

I did some calcs about attributes and covert one's are really cheap, so it figures that it has to be over 400b to be really usefull.

I was referring to in game black market, where duals are available for 50$, as a game option that Jason gave...
Pure talking about game option and not about who does it, as mentioned in my 1st post in this topic, if that part has been skipped.

@ dazman who is the common person you reffer to? when you look at between TTF and FUALL there are probably close to 100 duals between them. thats more then there ever was before the ability to create them or buy them. yes merlins are prob the only way to keep them unless your not in a war. anyone with 10 trill+ can buy a planet now.

i bet u preffer old times when only one player was able to handlle a dual and with the help of his empire to be able to keep 10 duals with high defences

I don't think you could have written a more glaring statement of how much you don't know about the game.

The games current state is not largely from Jason it's from the past when all us old timers thought just like you do now. We wanted more, we demanded more and we got it and it's not done any good.

It's amazing how many people who have played from 2005 realise the game is broken and we messed up pushing Jason into ridiculous updates and how many who have survived in the $$ era don't. Jason won't do anything now because he doesn't know what to do, not because he knows better and that's from the horses mouth. Although hind sight is always more enlightened.

If you had been here longer you'd also know how far other aspects of the game and community have fallen. Oh to be a newbie once again and have all these wonderful ideas of grandeur and faith in Jason.

i had the link for 3-4 games
quantum sgw and taw
and i followed just taw .. and quantum
sgw was to hard and impossible mission that times to be a newcomer and to reach big players ...
now even with a 200 k account u can become a STAR in this game if u really want and have the will to do it

bebita do you not understand anything. come on man where is the whining in this topic tell me? its a general topic on seeing what the views of others are on a particular aspect of the game. and like i told you leave that stuff out of it(10 planets need an empire to keep them safe) we aint in that stage anymore.

the point i was trying to get some views on is that this was once a rare luxury just like having a 100 mill army size and a 500 bill ms and im intrigued to know how soon because im sure it will happen that the game will keep growing and duals become more common that triple stat planets will be introduced, probably to buy for like $100 ingame market.

nothing about who can spend $$ to keep them or not keep them or who had them or has them. not relevant to what i started this for.ok!

nowdays planets are quite underrated, mostly because of the server war, and inflation. "They just come 'n go", i don't see high defences anywhere.
Ppl have much more naq nowdays, but they dont have much higher stats. pulling up a useable support planet is quite cheap.

more duals in game will just get people care more about their planets, and thats good for the gameplay.

There are a few with really high Def's, sadly when admin made the update to planets and there defenses, you can put 1.5trill on a planet then the cost sky rockets, granted there are platforms, but no matter how big you make it, it can be massed down, where as there are no caps on fleets, a huge alliance can easily fund 1 person to take the biggest defended planet in the game, it make cost them 100's of trills naq to build fleets, and another 100trill to mass it down, but it can be done.

So unless admin changes that defense system on planets, duals will forever be on merlin, in the war or not.

Me personally, if i got a triple planet, you would see this in the planet market

Lol, like I said, those with lots of merlins can hold duals. I don't have one. There may be 100duals between fuall and TTF, but theres a good 300 people fighting, and some people hold a good 5-10 duals on them. Which makes duals not common to the average person.
