Search didn't turn up anything useful, so I ask.
How does new anti-covert skill affect covert defense, if at all? Is this just new thing to waste money in, or actually useful?

What do you mean your search turned up nothing usefull?....
I've only had to say this five or six times...
Anti-Covert is Offensive in nature, and does not help you avoid getting sabbed/reconed.
The ONLY thing it does is kill enemy spies when you attack an opponent.
Further...Anti-Covert's effectiveness is based on your Anti-covert vs there covert....
The way you phrase your question, it almost sounds like you didn't even read the updates...
