Before I should attempt anything which may potentially get me banned/suspended, I would like some clarification as to where the line is drawn on the following rule:
2) No automated processes, macros, scripts or other 'non human being' run account activity is allowed.
Now say, setting up a macro to automatically withdraw and repair your weapons and/or mothership would be illegal. Would it on the other hand be illegal to have a program instantly calculate how much MS shields you need to buy and the naq it would cost, and then allow you to input yourself the proper values and repair? It would basically be doing the mental work quickly for you, but you are still doing the grunt work and all the clicking.
Would that also be illegal or is there a fine line?
Question on automated processes.

I'm not sure how it would work exactly, but would it be seperate from the game? I mean would the game detect the tool? Cause I believe anything that interfers with the game no matter what it does is illegal.

Re: Question on automated processes.
I haven't created anything of the sort. Don't wanna try such a thing yet, I just have the blueprint in my mind, haha.
For example, I could make it so every time I open the mothership page, it copy pastes the numbers into a calculator, and tells me how many shields/weapons I need to repair and what it'll cost. I can then plug in the numbers myself.
Just kind of a precise shortcut to having to do all the mental arithmetic, which could be valuable in an online battle.

I'm pretty sure it would not be allowed because the tool would be going in to the game to get those numbers of shields / weapons.

It wouldn't so much be a tool, just a macro to double click on numbers, copy paste them into a calculator and evaluate.

I see. Well i can't say yay or nay tbh. It would be cool, but not if there's a risk. You could always ask Jason, or get someone to ask at the meet. Probably best way to do it, if you get a no from Jason then you don't do it, if you get a yes then you have the confidence that there's no risk.
